Wyoming is set to cast its votes for the US presidential polls on November 5.
The Wyoming voters will pick electors who will represent them in the Electoral College via a popular vote.
The state has 3 electoral votes in the Electoral College, after reapportionment due to the 2020 United States census in which it neither gained nor lost a seat.
Donald Trump is expected to win in this sparsely populated Mountain West state which is also considered as 'Deep Red' as it is reliably Republican.
Since 1952, Wyoming has backed the GOP candidate vying for the White House, with only an exemption in 1964 where the voters from the state supported Democrat Lyndon Johnson.
Trump's largest victory in the 2020 presidential elections was also from Wyoming.

In the 2020 presidential elections, Donald Trump emerged winner in Wyoming with 70% votes defeating US President Joe Biden.
As of Oct 1, 2024, 236,290 voters have registered. About 11% were Democrats, 80% Republicans and 8% unaffiliated.
The voter turnout in 2020 presidential elections was 102% of registered voters.
