Passengers waiting at the Toronto Pearson International Airport on Thursday made the most of their time at the airport when their flight departure got delayed.
WestJet passengers scheduled to depart from Toronto were told by the airline staff of a 30-minutedelay in their departure as they were waiting for the pilot to arrive. Much to the amusement of the airline staff and airport authorities, the passengers did not show frustration andstarted having fun.
According to CNN,Newfoundlanders Sean Sullivan and Sheldon Thornhill took out theirguitar and accordionand started playing it while otherpassengers sang and danced along. All this was recorded by a traveller named Michelle Sacrey Philpott.
As told to CNN, Philpott said,“Everyone cheered. We got the instruments out again and started to continue singing and dancing. Newfoundlanders love to sing and dance. It is such a huge part of our culture.”
