Spain

Spain was recently ravaged by devastating flash floods, and according to some conspiracy theorists, some higher power had sent out a warning sign before the devastation. According to reports, a double rainbow was seen in the sky before the floods. A cluster of lights was then spotted near the rainbows in Spain.

Conspiracy theorists say those were "UFOs" that had come to send out a "warning" of the floods that hit the country days later. Unverified videos on social media show lights darting through the sky over a residential area in Barcelona.

The white lights later whizzed through the clouds as the camera zoomed in. The person in the video can then be heard saying, "What the hell are they?" before saying the lights might be "UFOs".

Several people on social media also believed the lights were UFOs and had come to warn them about the impending disaster. But others think that they were merely birds reflecting light, or could also just be drones.

The lights were seen over Barcelona, and days later the storm named DANA caused the fatal floods. The death toll is still rising, with more than 200 people confirmed dead.

Cold drops in Spain

Spain is also battling cold drops this year, a phenomenon which occurs when cold air combines with humid air in the upper atmosphere. It is known to cause extreme downpours and storms.

The region of Paiporta has been the most affected and the Spanish media says it is ground zero of the disaster. At least 89 people are still missing here. More than 60 people died here when water gushed down the Poyo canal.

People are extremely angry by the disaster and vented it out on Spanish royals and other officials when they visited Paiporta. They hurled mud and other objects at them to express their rage at the deaths and the devastation.

Several more municipalities, especially the southern flank of Valencia city on the Mediterranean coast, have been affected. Police are searching nearby marshes and coastlines where the waters could have carried people away.

Residents say the regional Valencia government did not alert them against the danger in time.
