
One of the most popular teen sensation, Miley Cyrussaw herself flooded with social media messages after she pulled out of her planned appearance at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards in the late hours yesterday.
Apologising to her fansshe posted on Instagram:
'To my dearest fans & all of those watching Teen Choice Awards! I want to say thank you from the very bottom of my heart for presenting me with #The UltimateChoiceAward! I am beyond bummed I couldn't make it to the show as I had every intention of being there to accept and celebrate this honor !'
'I created an unrealistic schedule for myself which leads me to this announcement! I've been tryin to keep the secret but I can't hide it any longer! My new single / music video #YoungerNow will be dropping this Friday , Aug 18th & I am sooooooo EXCITED to share it with all of you!

The American singer and actressreceived The Ultimate Choice Award but pulled a last-minute no show which created a social media furore.
Miley and Chris Pratt were scheduled to host the Awards ceremony but even Chris didn't show up on stage for the first 30 minutes. Although he did appear later to accept his award forChoice Sci-Fi Movie Actor.

Other big names also weren't anywhere at the ceremony but sent in their video acceptances like Bruno Mars and Gal Gadot while some winners like Beyonce, Zac Efron and Ariana Grande were merely announced.
After an initial hiccup with Miley and Chris as absentees, other artists kept the show together and running.KYLE! opened the show, that was happening at the Galen Center inLos Angeleswith his hit iSpy featuring Lil Yachty. Rita Ora performed to her latest hit Your Song whileTyler Posey and Tyler Eckland came out to announcethe nominees for the first award of the night.
Clean Bandits were a clear favourite withZara Larsson, performing their hit Rockabye along with a medley of hits, including Larsson's Symphony.
Among other highlights, the last performance of the night wereOne Director member Louis Tomlinson and Bebe Rexha performing Back To You.
