The fact that SS Rajamouli’s film Baahubali 2 was one of the biggest films of the year is a well known fact. The film that captured the imagination of people across the country was not just popular in India but a phenomena world-wide. Proof of which can be seen in the list that Google has released of the top trends of 2017 where Baahubali 2 features on number 7 of the top ten list under the Movies category.
Interestingly, Indians feature in top ten TV trends of 2017 as well. Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss is on number 6 while The Kapil Sharma Show is on number 9 in the list which has Stranger Things on the top spot.
In the movies category, IT takes the top spot followed by Wonder Woman on the second spot.
Interestingly, Bigg Boss 11' was the most searched keyword as far as TV shows are concerned in Yahoo's annual list this year as well.
Popular TV series Game Of Thrones is on number 4 on the TV trends list while Netflix’ other show 13 Reasons Why is on the second spot.
Among actors, Kevin Spacey, Gal Gadot and Prince Harry's fiance Meghan Markle featured in the most searched list.
