Elon Musk denies keeping birth of his 12th baby a secret: 'Would have been bizarre'

Billionaire Elon Musk welcomed a new baby with Neuralink's Director Shivon Zilis earlier this year. However, this came into the news just recently. Speaking to Page Six on Sunday (June 23), Musk said all his friends and family knew about his baby's birth and he never tried to hide it.

"Failure to issue a press release, which would be bizarre, does not mean secret,” he added. This baby of Musk is his 12th child, and his third with Zilis. The Page Six report said that the name and sex of the new baby have not been revealed yet.

Musk outspoken about concerns over population decline

Musk has been outspoken about his concerns over population decline.“Many countries are already well below replacement rate, and the trend is that almost all will be. This is simply a fact, not a ‘debunked theory,” the tech tycoon told Page Six on Sunday.

“2.1 kids is replacement rate, and obviously the world as a whole will soon drop below that point,” he added.

In November 2021, Musk welcomed twinswith Zilis. They were born just one month before heand alt-pop singer Grimes had a child via surrogacy.

Musk has 12 children in total. The name and sex of the new baby that Musk had with Zilishave not been revealed yet. Musk fathers his 11 other children with three women including Zilis.The names of his 11 children are- Strider, Azure, X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, Techno, Griffin, Vivian, Nevada, Kai, Saxon and Damian.
