Southern White Rhino to be sent to Japan for breeding programme
White rhinos are the second-largest land mammal and are an endangered species with a near-threatened status. As part of efforts to save the species from extinction, a zoo in Taiwan is preparing to send a young female southern white rhinoceros, called Emma, to Japan where they hope she will breed.
