Nepal has received a $9.4 million payment from the World Bank's Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) in recognition of its success in reducing approximately 1.88 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions through its community-led REDD+ program in the Terai Arc Landscape.
