Ahead of the 2024 General elections in India, the unity efforts of the opposition I.N.D.I.A. Alliance seem to be already coming under strain. The challenges became evident at a recent meeting of the bloc in New Delhi, when the Chief Minister of the state of Bihar Nitish Kumar lost his cool with DMK leader T.R. Baalu who asked for an English translation of his Hindi speech.
