DRDO demonstrates 30-Kw laser to destroy hostile drones

India's DRDO has demonstrated its indigenous 30-kilowatt laser-directed energy weapon, DEW Mk-II(A), also known as Sahastra Shakti. Designed to neutralise hostile drones and aerial swarms using concentrated laser energy, the system marks a step forward in India's development of directed-energy weapons for air defence.
