Cyclone 'Bulbul' left a trail of destruction along the eastern coast of India

Director of Meteorological Department, Kolkata, G.C. Das said, "In the next 12 hours, this tropical cyclone will ultimately become depression and will lose intensity". The wind speeds in most coastal regions of India peaked up to 90 km per hour (56 miles per hour). Some areas received heavy rainfall and faced waterlogging as well. Many trees were seen uprooted and huts and small houses were destroyed after the cyclone.
