Bangladesh’s Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Nazrul has condemned the Board of Control for Cricket India’s (BCCI) decision to remove fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, as he said that the country should be playing its upcoming T20 World Cup 2026 matches in Sri Lanka and not India. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) released Mustafizur Rahman on Saturday on the BCCI's instructions.
