<p>Thrill-seekers flocked to the world's longest suspension footbridge after its opening in the Czech Republic.</p>

<p>The 721-metre-long bridge, which has been named Sky Bridge 721, is located near the Dolni Morava vacation resort.</p>

<p>It connects the Jeseniky mountains and enables tourists to walk from one mountain to another with a spectacular view.</p>

<p>The bridge, suspended by six main supporting ropes and 60 wind ropes, took two years to build at a cost of 200 million crowns ($8.4 million).</p>

<p>Michaela Klestilova, a day-hiker told news agency Reuters, "We came here because we love adrenaline."</p>

<p>"We came by foot up here and now we are looking for our reward," she added.</p>

<p>Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a stellar name in history. But relatively few people know about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, his son. On May 14, his birth anniversary, a look at the 'tiger cub's life may prove to be inspirational for many.</p>

<p>Shivaji Maharaj, the visionary Maratha king laid the foundation of Maratha empire. But his death in the year 1680 left a void at the very top echelon of Maratha power. Shivaji Maharaj's arch-nemesis, Mughal Badshah Aurangzeb was very much alive and had now started to think that death of Shivaji Maharaj meant death of Maratha empire.</p>

<p>This is when Sambhaji Maharaj assumed control and defended the fledgling empire.</p>

<p>Sambhaji Maharaj (born May 15, 1657) was not only a warrior but an accomplished writer as well. He wrote three volumes of 'Bhudhbhushan' when he was just 14 years old. The book deals with various aspects of statecraft.</p>

<p>Sambhaji Maharaj fought 120 battles against the then-mighty Mughals and other enemies of Marathas. He did not lose a single one.</p>

<p>The only time when he faced defeat was at battle of Sangameshwar. It is said that he was captured by Aurangzeb due to treachery in his own ranks.</p>

<p>Sambhaji Maharaj was brutally tortured for weeks. The 'tiger cub' remained unflinching in spite of unimaginable suffering. He passed away on March 11, 1689.</p>

<p>Killing of Sambhaji is considered to be a huge political mistake committed by Aurangzeb Badshah. The Badshah had thought that with another top leader dead, the Maratha power would wither in no time.</p>

<p>However, death of Sambhaji had exactly the opposite effect. Brutal end of their beloved king enraged Maratha chieftains and they closed ranks to form a formidable opposition that saw them fighting Aurangzeb tooth and nail for next 20 years. The Maratha power did not wither as Badshah had thought but had now become even greater a problem for the Mughal Empire. After the death of Aurangzeb, the last great Mughal Badshah, there was no stopping the Marathas who rapidly captured territory in central and north India to form a huge empire and ultimately make Mughal Empire a puppet regime under their influence.</p>

<p>Acharya Makunuri Srinivasa, an Indian man who lives in Hyderabad, has won the Guinness World Record for building the world's largest ball pen.</p>

<p>The massive pen, created in 2011, weighs 37.23 kg and is 5.5 metres in length according to a reel shared by the Guinness World Record on Instagram.&nbsp;It defeated the previous world record by 1.45 metres.</p>

<p>Vouching for the pen's functionality, Guinness said that, “As per the guidelines, the pen ‘dispenses ink at its tip during use by the rolling action of a small metal sphere’.”</p>

'Lighting is everything': Imran Khan goes viral again. Watch the video here

<p>A man from Indian state of Madhya Pradesh (MP) wrote a letter to the state's home minister after he did not get high after consuming two bottles of liquor.</p>

<p>The man, identified as Lokendra Sethiya by Network 18 bought four quarters of liquor from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Even after consuming two bottles, he failed to get high.</p>

<p>He then wrote a letter to state Home Minister Narottam Mishra saying he suspected that the alcohol was spurious and adulterated. Sethiya even approached the excise department. He reportedly submitted a letter to the excise officials. In addition to that, he gave them the remaining two bottles of alcohol as evidence.</p>

<p>The news report says that excise officials have assured that man that they would look into the matter.</p>

<p>However, the man does not look satisfied.</p>

<p>He has threatened that he will approach the consumer court if excise department does not take action against liquor contractor. He has asked excise officials to verify the contents of the bottle he has submitted.</p>

<p>In spite of his appeals to authorities, there was reportedly no action on his complaints till May 6.</p>

<p>“I drink and also earn but what about those who don’t earn and only drink,” he added. He was quoted by news outlet Network 18.</p>

The news report says that excise officials have assured that man that they would look into the matter. However, the man does not look satisfied. He has threatened that he will approach the consumer court if excise department does not take action against liquor contractor. He has asked excise officials to verify the contents of the bottle he has submitted. In spite of his appeals to authorities, there was reportedly no action on his complaints till May 6. “I drink and also earn but what about those who don’t earn and only drink,” he added. <p>Youtube Kids, the app from the platform meant to be for kids under the age of 13 has come into focus after an investigation revealed that videos on drugs, firearms, weight loss and skin bleaching were apparently slipping through filters and being shown to the target audience.</p>

<p>Youtube Kids was launched in 2015 with a stated goal of providing a curated, safer video platform for kids under 13. The content is categorised into &nbsp;“older”, “younger” and “preschool” categories.</p>

<p>The Guardian reported Youtube as saying that videos on Youtube Kids are family-friendly through “a mix of automated filters built by our engineering teams, human review and feedback from parents to protect our youngest users online”. But the platform also cautions the users saying “no system is perfect and inappropriate videos can slip through”.</p>

<p>Tech Transparency Project (TTP), a non-profit based in the US investigated Youtube Kids apps by making three accounts, each able to access content in three categories of videos. It was discovered that many videos which children of that age should not watch were present on the platform.</p>

<p>These included Breaking Bad themes cooking shows. Breaking Bad is a TV show that involves drugs, breaking laws and themes not appropriate for children.</p>

<p>Even an Eric Clapton song Cocaine was found to have made its way on the app. The song has lyrics like “When your feeling is gone, and you wanna ride on, cocaine”.</p>

<p>“YouTube Kids is geared specifically to young children, even toddlers,” said Katie Paul, TTP’s director. “This is a product that, YouTube claims, does a lot of machine learning to filter out harmful content. It’s very specifically meant to be safe for children, and we didn’t expect to find the variety of inappropriate content that we did find.”</p>

<p>It further added, “She was issued a summons for OUI. We are fortunate that she didn't strike anyone and this ended with just a small amount of property damage. Please don't drink and drive.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>The police has not revealed the identity of the lady as of now. &nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, every day, about 28 people in the United States die in drunk-driving crashes — that's one person every 52 minutes.”&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rob, the homeowner who found the meal, described this strange incident on Reddit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“While removing a fixture in the bathroom I noticed a piece of cloth stuck behind plaster and pulled it out to show my wife,” he explained.</p>

<p>Their home was built in the year 1959. This means that the meal sitting inside the bathroom wall for more than 60 years.</p>

<p>Both Rob and his wife were relieved because the plastic wrappers contained food items and not anything sinister. Yikes!</p>

<p>The revelation of Mcdonald's meal has sparked a conversation on Reddit.</p>

<p>“I need to check inside my walls now,” said a user. “McDonald's fries never go bad. It's just an urban legend,” a third user commented.</p>

'Batman Returns': Spider monkey with unique symbol found in Australian zoo

<p>A wild monkey in China tried to kidnap a 3-year-old but was saved by a villager.</p>

<p>The footage was captured on CCTV camera in China's southwest Chongqing area. The girl was on a scooter as&nbsp;the monkey sneaked up on her and threw the kid on the ground and tried to drag her away, however, a passerby spotted the monkey and rescued the girl.</p>

<p>Reports said the infant's mother was inside the house and learnt about the incident later and she also checked the surveillance cameras as she reported the incident to the local police.</p>

<p>The villagers claimed the monkey had attacked elderly villagers earlier, however, it was the first time a child was attacked.</p>

<p>Police claimed the monkeys were coming down from the nearby mountains and they now pose a threat to the villagers.</p>

<p>The girl wasn't hurt with only a few scratches reported as the police said she would be sent to hospital and will be vaccinated.</p>

<p>The authorities said they would be handing over the monkey to the wild animal protection department.</p>
