<p>Experts also pointed out that fewer tomatoes were planted this year as the farmers went for cash crops.&nbsp;</p>

The Google-owned video-sharing&nbsp;platform said in an attempt to tackle&nbsp;medical misinformation on COVID-19, vaccines, reproductive health,&nbsp;harmful substances, and more, it will remove content that&nbsp;contradicts local health authorities or the World Health Organization (WHO).</p>

<p>According to an employee well-being survey by Mumbai-based The 7th Fold, higher share of Gen-Z binge&nbsp;eats (60 per cent) than Millennials (49 per cent) and Gen-X (40 per cent).&nbsp;</p>

<p>So why the health-conscious Gen-Zers ends up snackifying themselves more than their predecessor generations?</p>

<p>The answer lies in the intent-action gap.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"While they intend to snack healthily, their consumption tells a different story. They snack out of emotions and boredom, and familiar indulgences act as stress relievers and mood boosters. Therefore, indulgence in snacking will remain pivotal, especially for the Gen-Zs," Tulsi Joshi, senior food and drink analyst at Mintel Reports India, was quoted as saying by The Times of India.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Why Gen-Z is binging on snacks?</strong></h2>

<p>Experts say it's partly because of diminishing culinary skills.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to Sahil Gilani, director (sales and marketing), Gits Food Products, with diminishing cooking skills among the younger generation, ready-to-eat options are being preferred over ready-to-cook ones.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Experts further add that the Gen-Z cannot withstand discomfort as much as their predecessor generations. So while they intend to be healthy and productive, their actions go against their intent, in what is called 'low frustration tolerance'.</p>

<p>The survey also showed that to deal with stress, 67 per cent of Gen-Z binge-watches video content, following which they struggle to concentrate on work tasks (33 per cent of Gen Z against 7 per cent Millennials and Gen-X).&nbsp;</p>

<p>Experts recommend workplaces to have trained coaches to manage a distracted lot of Gen-Zers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Gen Z could be a lot more productive if they are able to manage their frustrations better. Organisations that have a large employee base of Gen Zers would do well if they have trained coaches that are dedicated to have one-on-one sessions with the younger employees to help them focus on work and enable them to be more productive. Managers, who themselves are very young in many organisations, would not be able to manage a distracted lot of Gen Zers. A coach who can sit with them to ask what they are struggling with and help them with coping mechanisms, would help both the Gen Zers and the organisations," Hamsaz Wadhwani, founder and CEO of HR firm The 7th Fold, was quoted as saying by The Times of India.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Bringing them to the workplace would be better for their productivity, but a dull and boring office can be off-putting. The positive aspect is that Gen Zers want to have conversations," he added.</p>

<p>A 45-year-old Pakistani-origin man aboard a Malaysia Airlines flight has been charged for allegedly threatening to blow up the plane during a flight from Sydeny to Kuala Lumpur.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The accused, identified as Muhammad Arif, a resident of Canberra, was arrested by the airport authorities after&nbsp;Malaysia Airlines flight MH122 was forced to return to Sydney, three hours after the flight had taken off. According to&nbsp;&nbsp;Australian Federal Police (AFP), Arif claimed to have explosives on him which set panic among the plane passengers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to news agency AFP, Arif was&nbsp;charged with making a false statement about a threat to damage an aircraft and failing to comply with the cabin crew’s safety instructions. If convicted, he faces a maximum prison sentence of 10 years and a fine of over $7,300.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Arif was a nuisance from the start: Passengers&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>Even before the plane took off, Arif caught attention of the majority of the 199 passengers on board by praying out loud. While not many minded his actions at the time, his antics continued to grow ludicrous afterwards.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“At that point, we just thought he was praying for everyone. People just generally had a laugh," said a passenger.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Videos of Arif being a nuisance during the flight have gone viral on social media platforms. One of the clips shows him sitting in the airplane's aisle on a prayer mat and bowing to pray, much to the inconvenience of his fellow passengers.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Are you a slave of Allah,” one of the passengers can be heard asking him.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Notably, after being arrested, Arif refused to leave his police cell on Tuesday (August 15) to be produced before the magistrate. The matter was repeatedly adjourned while lawyers attempted to talk sense to Arif.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I have tried to see him.&nbsp;But he has refused to come out of his cell," Mostafa Daoudie, his lawyer, told the court.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile,&nbsp;&nbsp;magistrate Greg Grogin said:&nbsp;“They will have to extract him if he is to come before the court.”</p>

<p>Taiwan’s Air Force Tuesday (August 15) issued an apology to the country’s Coast Guard Administration (CGA) after one of its F-16 fighter jets errantly dropped a bomb too close to a CGA vessel.</p>

<p>The fighter jet was reportedly involved in a training session and badly missed its target. Air Force Chief of Staff General Tsao Chin-ping said the incident occurred on August 9.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During training, the jet missed its target in the sea and instead dropped the 2,000-pound MK-84 bomb off Pingtung's Jioupeng military base.</p>

<h2><strong>CGA vessel affected by the shockwave</strong></h2>

<p>The bomb triggered a massive shockwave after hitting the waters, which affected a manned CGA vessel faring in the vicinity. The General told the media that no casualties were reported as the vessel was sailing several nautical miles away from the spot where the bomb landed.</p>

<p>The Air Force has vowed to take strict action against the pilot and the instructor involved in the incident “for failing to properly supervise the bomb drop drill.”</p>

<h2><strong>CGA members vent frustration on social media</strong></h2>

<p>The incident came to light when several furious CGA members took to social media to express their disappointment with the Air Force drill.</p>

<p>Some of the members claimed they had to seek medical attention because of the shockwaves that the bomb triggered. Not just that, it was also revealed that a US-made MIM-104F (PAC-3) Patriot missile also exploded prematurely during Tuesday drills, information that was confirmed by&nbsp;General Tsao.</p>

<p>Local media reported it was the first time that a US missile had exploded prematurely before hitting the target. General Tsao said the Air Force and the military’s research unit were investigating what led to the premature explosion.</p>

<p>In July, the Painesville Police Department responded to a report of a 'masked bandit with a mayo jar stuck on its head.' It turned out that the masked bandit was a raccoon who was strolling on the street near East Walnut Avenue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The clip shows Pakistani nationals waiting with bated breath&nbsp;for the flag to turn up. However, much to their disappointment, the flag was never projected, even as the clock ticked past midnight.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The time is 12:01 am now and Dubai officials informed that Pakistan's national flag won't be displayed on Burj Khalifa. This has become our status now.
