<p>The&nbsp;man's&nbsp;wife was receiving a new port for her dialysis when the Centrepoint Medical&nbsp;Centre's&nbsp;staff in Independence called a&nbsp;“code blue”&nbsp;on Friday (May 3),&nbsp;after they found her unresponsive.</p>

<p>The staff officials managed to get her pulse back, however, they found that she was brain dead and prepared to harvest her organs, as stated in the probable cause statement. The&nbsp;man's&nbsp;wife died on Saturday (May 4).</p>

<p>After killing the woman, Wiggs ran away from the hospital. However, as per the statement, Wiggs was brought back by the&nbsp;woman's&nbsp;son&nbsp;after&nbsp;which he confessed. The&nbsp;staff members heard the man say,&nbsp;“I did it, I killed her, I choked her,”&nbsp;as per the statement.</p>

<p>The man&nbsp;was then arrested&nbsp;and informed a detective that he first covered his&nbsp;wife’s&nbsp;nose and mouth to stop her from screaming, read&nbsp;the statement. He&nbsp;added that he was depressed and was not able to handle the caregiving and bills.</p>

After the voting, statements were issued by Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman and regents President Karen Walsh in which they said that the regents had learned about Gow's specific conduct that subjected the university to “significant reputational harm.”<br />

The actions of Gow were termed as “abhorrent” by Rothman, and Walsh added that she was “disgusted.” However, neither of them gave out the details of the allegations.</p>

<p>On the day of the fateful accident, Ankit requested a cup of tea which enraged the wife who grabbed the scissors and stabbed him in the eye. Ankit instantly fell to the ground and started bleeding heavily.</p>

<p>Upon hearing the commotion, Ankit's sister-in-law arrived at the scene and informed the police about the incident.&nbsp;The victim was rushed to the nearest community health centre where the doctors referred him to a hospital in Meerut.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A 43-year-old married man allegedly killed his live-in partner in Palghar, Maharashtra, by drowning her in a tub of water, the police said on Wednesday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The deceased, identified as Naina Mahat, had been in a relationship with the accused, Manohar Ravi Shankar Shukla, for five years. Naina, 28, filed a rape case against him at the Waliv and Virar police stations after she learned he was married and refused to marry her, the police told ANI.</p>

<p>Shukla asked Naina to withdraw the case. However, when she refused to do so, he murdered her, as per reports.</p>

<p>"The accused threatened and pressured the woman to withdraw the case. When the woman refused, the man killed her by drowning her in a tub of water," the police said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the murder, Shukla sought his wife's help, stuffed Naina's body in a suitcase and disposed it off in a creek in Valsad, Gujarat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Naina Mahat worked as a makeup artist and hairdresser in the film industry. She lived alone in Sunteck Tower in Naigaon.</p>

<h2><strong>Modus operandi of scheme</strong></h2>

<p>Nath, employed at ManpowerGroup since 2008, held the positions of Assistant Manager (Finance) and later Manager (Finance). He acted as a crucial link between the company's outside payroll vendor and various departments like HR and finance. With access to the monthly payroll and reimbursement data limited to only three officers, Nath took advantage of his position.</p>

<p>Every month, the payroll vendor would prepare the pay register based on data provided by Nath. This register would then pass through the Director (HR) and the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) for approval before being sent back to Nath for the final step of salary release to the bank.</p>

<p>It was at this final stage that Nath allegedly tampered with the data, surreptitiously inserting his wife's name, Sasmita Raul, and assigning her a salary amount.</p>

<p>He also manipulated his own salary figures. Once the manipulated payroll file was uploaded to the bank portal by Nath, all employees' salaries, including his wife's, were transferred accordingly.</p>

<h2><strong>Fraudulent transactions</strong></h2>

<p>Upon conducting an internal investigation, the company discovered that Nath had been uploading the manipulated payroll file using another employee's computer system. After completing the process, he would delete the file from the system to cover his tracks.</p>

<p>Following his suspension on 11 December, 2022, Nath was summoned before an internal committee to explain the discrepancies.</p>

<p>Since the man, an Idukki native, had registered the scooter under his wife's name,&nbsp;the details of traffic rules violations, the fine imposed as well as the photos were sent to her.</p>

<p>The husband was questioned by his wife about the woman with whom he was riding the scooter. The 32-year-old man, who works as an employee at a textile shop, claimed that he had no relationship with the lady and had only given her a lift, as reported by the news agency PTI.</p>

<p>The issue changed into an argument between the married couple as the wife refused to believe the explanation that her husband gave.</p>

<p>On May 5, a complaint was filed by the wife at the Karamana police station in which she accused the husband of manhandling her as well as their three-year-old child.</p>
