Recently, the tech mogul took to Instagram to share pictures of 3D-printed dresses he made for his daughter. The Facebook CEO posted pictures of his daughter wearing the 3D printed clothes with the caption, "I love building things and recently started designing and 3D printing dresses with the girls. A few projects from the last month." He also revealed that for this special project, he learned to sew. "and yes, I had to learn to sew," he wrote.
The Kenosha police department released dash cam footage of an 84-year-old man being pulled out of a burning car that caught fire after its tyre went flat. The police bravely pulled the old man out of the burning car and saved his life.

What do to if a car catches fire?

It is imperative to be both mentally and physically prepared to deal with a situation of such nature. Here’s what you can do if a car catches fire.

Turn off the engine – The olfactory senses can typically spot warning signals of a possible fire. You might be able to smell the distinctive odour of a short circuit or burning plastic before the fire really breaks out. Any stench that is unfamiliar should be looked into right away. You don't have to wait till there is smoke and fire to act. You must safely stop your vehicle and turn off the engine if you think there might be a fire. You must remove it if you are using physical keys.

Exit the vehicle – Avoid taking the chance of trying to make decisions while driving. Within a few seconds, a car fire can spread rapidly. Therefore, be cautious to get out of the car as quickly as you can. Ask all additional passengers to get out of the car.

Use the fire extinguisher – Many nations have laws requiring that automobiles always have a fire extinguisher inside. You can use the fire extinguisher to put out a small fire that is unrelated to a fuel leak or battery pack. It would be best to avoid trying anything risky if there is a significant fire, though.

Maintain distance - Keep a safe distance away from the car because you never know when it can explode. Even if you are protected from the flames, flying debris can still seriously hurt you.

Call emergency services - Once you are securely outside the car, dial your neighbourhood emergency services. Give all the information required so that the right personnel and equipment can be sent to your location.

This time, while posting the stunning video of our own planet, NASA wrote, ''Watch as the world passes by, literally. The people who've been to Earth orbit for the rare opportunity to see our home planet from a whole different angle say this blue marble in space is really quite beautiful and awe-inspiring when seen from 250 miles straight up.''
Air India has made the headlines once again, this time for a pilot treating the cockpit as his living room and 'entertaining' a female friend. The incident happened on international flight AI 915 from Dubai to Delhi on February 27th. As per an HT report, the pilot not only mistreated the cabin crew but also endangered the passengers with his actions.

India's aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is currently investigating the complaint filed by a member of the cabin crew.

The pilot allegedly wanted the cabin crew to make sure that the cockpit, a.k.a., the control centre for the aeroplane, appeared welcoming to his guest.

Then the pilot against whom the complaint has been filed made demands for a seat upgrade for his friend and when that wasn't available asked for her to be seated in the cockpit. The guest was eventually seated in the first observer seat, which goes against DGCA safety norms.

According to DGCA's Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR): "An employee of the aircraft operator, who has the permission of the pilot-in-command (PIC) and whose duties are such that his/ her entry into the cockpit is necessary for the safe operation of the aircraft can only be allowed in the cockpit provided they have done the mandatory BA tests."

Artificial Intelligence helps 'solve the mystery,' match medicine to patient, aid in treatment of depression

MS Dhoni remains a huge name in world cricket. Despite retiring from international cricket on August 15, 2020, the wicketkeeper-batter remains active in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and is leading the four-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the ongonig 2023 edition in India. After five games, the Yellow Army have won and lost two each and will be gearing up for their face-off versus Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 24 of IPL 2023 on Monday evening (April 17), at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

While Dhoni remains focused to leading CSK to their fifth title, the question on his IPL future remains on everyone's mind. It is widely speculated that IPL 2023 will be the final season for the celebrated cricketer. During a promotional event recently, Dhoni was asked by a fan about his retirement plans from the cash-rich league. To this, the 41-year-old gave a witty response. He said, "There is lots of time to take that call. Right now, we have lots of games, and the coach will be under pressure if I say something," Dhoni said as the crowd cheered for the CSK captain's answer."

Right now, we have lots of games, and the coach will be under pressure if I say something," Dhoni said as the crowd cheered for the CSK captain's answer." Here's the video: "There's lot of time to take that call (Retirement). He has faced only 27 deliveries and scored 58 runs at a whopping strike rate of 214.81 along with six sixes from three outings. He will be eager to bring his side back to winning ways when they take on Faf du Plessis-led RCB on Monday evening. In their last clash, at home, CSK lost by three runs to last year's finalists Rajasthan Royals (RR) and currently occupy the sixth position in the points table. In IPL, Dhoni has played 238 games and amassed 5,036 runs at an average of 39.34 and strike rate of 135.78. He has led CSK to four IPL championships. #AlexaDown: Thousands of users report outage of Amazon's virtual assistant technology Alexa

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere, and we mean everywhere. From virtual friends to chatbots, to image and video generation, AI is making headlines. But did you think it could ever be a part of sleep? One of the most basic needs of any living being is good rest. For many, sleep is an actual hobby. What if artificial intelligence takes over this part of our lives too? No, AI won't be doing the sleeping for us, but it would be contributing to how we sleep.

Believe it or not, artificial intelligence is already a part of the industry. There exist special mattresses that are equipped with AI technology and help you sleep better.

Watch | How AI and Automation will impact jobs in the future

These AI mattresses can detect, and monitor our sleep cycles, adjust their temperature according to our needs and even adapt their firmness according to what we need.

It is not fiction; in 2022, a hotel in New York made headlines for its suite that is dedicated to the pleasure of sleep. One of the key features of this room is a mattress from a company called Bryte. The mattress is integrated with artificial intelligence technology.

What is so special about this artificial intelligence-equipped mattress?

The answer is, so much.

Do you remember the story of Goldilocks and how after eating the bear's porridge, she tried out two mattresses before finding her perfect fit? Well, no need to be a modern-day Goldilocks. AI has you covered.

Here's how Artificial Intelligence can help modern-day Goldilocks get a good night's sleep

Today, technology enables us to always stay connected to our loved ones and our peers. While this is largely seen as a positive, an often ignored negative of this incessant connection is that so many of us end up working overtime without even realising it. We end up "staying in touch" and responding to work-related queries not just via email but also through instant messaging applications like WhatsApp. Nevertheless, this doesn't get considered as work, in or outside of work hours; so naturally it isn't accepted as overtime if it's done in your personal time. However, a court in China has passed a ruling that may serve to change this narrative.

The court ruled that the time spent by employees on messaging app for work-related purposes outside of office hours can be counted as overtime.

In a case brought by an employee who claimed to have worked more than 2,000 hours of overtime in one year, mostly due to responding to messages on the app, the court ruled in the employee's favour and instructed the employer to pay for the additional hours worked. As per a Times UK report, the employee who is only known by her family name Li has been awarded around $4,365 or 30,000 yuan for work outside of office hours.

Her employer reportedly argued that Li's claims of overtime were unfounded and said that the work did not qualify as such. They said that employees only had to reply to "occasional questions" from staff.

The ruling is seen as a victory for workers' rights in China, where labour laws as per the report are often poorly enforced, and employees are vulnerable to exploitation.

Reportedly, in China, long working hours are common and on top of that, workers are often expected to be available 24/7 through messaging apps like WhatsApp or its Chinese equivalent, WeChat.

As per the report, the ruling may have implications for other Chinese companies that similarly rely heavily on messaging apps for work-related communication. This may prompt them to re-evaluate their communication policies. Furthermore, the judgement has raised questions on the legal status of apps like WhatsApp and WeChat and whether they should be subject to the same overtime rules as traditional forms of work.

Social media can often be a cruel place and no world leader has received the worst end of it more than US President Joe Biden. On Tuesday, Biden arrived in Northern Ireland for a brief visit to mark the silver jubilee of the Good Friday peace accord. However, soon a video started doing the rounds of internet where it was insinuated that Biden had snubbed British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the tarmac.

Numerous media outlets carried the clip but as it turns out, it was edited. In the poorly edited video, it was seen that the US President brushed aside Sunak to greet and salute an officer.

"Arriving in Belfast, the Biden did not recognise the Prime Minister of Great Britain and pushed the 'boy' away to salute the gray-haired military man," said one of the Twitter accounts.

The video was later carried by netizens across different social media platforms with millions of cumulative views racking up in the process.

However, an AFP report clears that the edited clip was picked from a YouTube video uploaded by Sky News's YouTube channel, with cuts that omit the full greeting.

Another video published by Sky News on their Twitter account shows the two leaders and their complete exchange. Biden climbs down the stairs and rather politely and calmly shakes Sunak's hands, speaks to him for a few seconds as he would do in a normal situation and later proceeds to acknowledge others on the tarmac.
We've all been there. You have a song you can't get out of your head, maybe you hate it, but you still find yourself humming its tune. Why does this happen? Turns out there's science behind this. A new study has revealed the science behind earworms and has even come up with a way you can kick them out of your head.

Guardian reports that the research by Professor Emery Schubert of the University of New South Wales Arts and Media School found that earworms creep into our brains while we're relaxed, or rather when our brains are in a "low-attentional state."

Shubert describes this as the state which is "sometimes referred to as mind wandering."

"In other words, if you’re deeply engaged with the environment you are in, really concentrating on a task, then you won’t get an earworm," he explains.

The study which has been published in the journal Music & Science found that these "involuntary musical imagery" are often choruses of songs and that certain songs are more successful as earworms. This is because they have catchy, repetitive tunes that our brains are familiar with.

Schubert says that most research on earworms to date has analysed the song's hook — a short riff or passage that works to catch a listener's attention. He, however, said the research fails to take into consideration the "repetition of the music structure".

To reiterate this point, the research makes reference to an earlier study that revealed that Lady Gaga's Bad Romance is one of the most persistent earworms.

"The implication is that earworms might not have anything to do with the musical features at all. It largely doesn’t matter what the music is, as long as repetition is part of the music structure."

Grand jury indicts Trump in 'historic' vote, making him first ex-US prez to face criminal charges

Donald Trump's possible indictment as per media reports has been put on hold. The arrest could take several more weeks as the grand jury takes an almost month-long break from the case. As per an AFP report citing US media, the grand jury will be taking a hiatus for most of April. Reportedly, due to the upcoming holidays like Easter, Passover and Eid al-Fitr, the jury will go on a scheduled break from April 10th.

Reports by Politico and the Washington Post citing anonymous sources close to the matter predict that the "empowered panel of citizens" may not consider the case again before the end of April. Washington Post predicts that the earliest date for the resuming of the grand jury in Trump's case would be April 24th.

Watch | Did Trump pay adult-film star to not discuss the encounter? Donald Trump's arrest delayed yet again; reports claim indictment could take weeks

Pakistan locked horns with Afghanistan in the just-concluded three-match T20I series in Sharjah. A second-stringed Pakistan side, under Shadab Khan, lost the series 2-1 on Monday (March 27). The Men in Green were on the verge of being whitewashed after losing the first two matches but came back strongly in the inconsequential third game to prevent a 0-3 scoreline.

During the series, there was a lot of focus on Azam Khan, son of former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Moin Khan. Azam, who had an impressive run in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023, failed to impress and returned with scores of 0, and 1. After his dismissal in the second T20I, which Pakistan lost by seven wickets after losing the series opener by six wickets, Azam was trolled by a Pakistan fan. The fan was caught on camera gesturing at Azam's fitness standards and eating habits. The video of the incident has gone viral in no time.

Nine days later, New York waits... and waits... for Trump's arrest

West Indies and South Africa produced a humdinger of a clash when both sides locked horns in the second and penultimate T20I at the SuperSport Park, Centurion on Sunday (March 26). With a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, Rovman Powell-led Windies were asked to bat first. Riding on Johnson Charles' 46-ball 118, WI posted 258 for 4 before Quinton De Kock's 44-ball 100 took the Proteas to a stunning six-wicket win.

Among the plethora of runs scored, WI skipper Powell's heartwarming act went viral. While trying to save a boundary, the captain made a quick decision near the ropes when he felt he was about to collide with a young ballboy. Being aware that the momentum will result in him taking the kid with him, Powell decided to let go of the ball and slightly changed his direction to save the kid, also an elder boy behind him, and ended up crashing on to the LED boards. As a result, he was hurt and play was halted for a brief period. However, the match resumed soon once Powell was declared fit.
