Shah Rukh Khan to play a RAW officer in Salman Khan starrer 'Tiger 3'

Katrina Kaif has ruled Bollywood for decades and has worked with all the big superstars in the Hindi film industry. Kaif has been a part of some of the biggest blockbusters in recent years. As the actress gears up to tie the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal on Thursday, speculations are rife on whether some of her favourite co-stars will be a part of her big day.

Ranbir Kapoor: Katrina did two of her career’s biggest hits with Ranbir: 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and 'Rajneeti'. Sources say Ranbir will skip the wedding in Jaipur. Perhaps their past history has something to do with it.

Akshay Kumar: Katrina and Akshay were seen together in numerous films, from Raj Kanwar’s 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' in 2006 to 'Sooryavanshi' in 2021. They get along like a house on fire. But he is not attending. Why? No clue!

Shah Rukh Khan: The only leading lady Shah Rukh has kissed on-screen is Katrina, and that too because he couldn’t say no to Yash Chopra in 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. Shah Rukh has a genuine reason to not attend. His family has recently gone through a nerve-wracking time after his son was arrested.

Aamir Khan: They’ve done two films together, both for Yash Raj Films. One worked like a charm('Dhoom 3'). The other fell to the ground with a thundering thug…I mean thud. But Aamir has always remained fond of Katrina. Not attending the wedding changes nothing. He can’t attend because he is in the middle of 'Lal Singh Chaddha'.

Salman Khan: Will he, won’t he? Salman and Katrina go back a long way. Her first hit 'Main Pyar Kyun Kiya' and her penultimate hit 'Bharat' were with Salman. They’ve shared a lot together. Too much for Salman to be a spectator at her wedding.

Is Shah Rukh Khan finally going to break his silence? Is his legal team preparing to strike back?

The bail order releasing Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan from custody on October 28 after nearly a month in jail, makes it crystal clear that there was no real ground for Aryan’s arrest.

The bail order from the Mumbai High Court states,“There is hardly any positive evidence on record to convince this Court that all the accused persons with common intention agreed to commit unlawful act…..Merely because Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were travelling in the same cruise, that by itself cannot be a foundation for the charge of conspiracy against them.”

So why was Aryan arrested? This is the question Shah Rukh Khan's legal team will ask Samir Wankhede the top cop from the Narcotics Control Bureau who masterminded the arrest of Aryan and his friends.

A close friend of the Khans informs that the Khan empire may strike back sooner rather than later.

Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan gave Bollywood some of the biggest blockbusters in the 1990s and early 2000s. On Tuesday, as SRK turned 56, Johar took to Instagram to share some personal photos with the superstar and wrote a warm tribute to the man whom he fondly calls 'Bhai'.

Recalling his first meet with SRK to expressing his gratitude to him for helping him to shape his life, Karan's birthday wish for Shah Rukh was straight from the heart.

"I met him on the sets of Karan Arjun for the first time .... I tagged along with my father to hang out with Kajol... not realising I was going to meet a man who would go on to shape my life, my career and my very being ....his charisma and intelligence is a globally known fact ... but I have the privilege of witnessing his humanity and heart," he wrote on Instagram, adding a string of images of him with SRK.

Aryan Khan's bail plea will be heard again by the Bombay High Court on Thursday. Aryan is Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son and has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs seizure case earlier this month.

During arguments on Tuesday, former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi argued that Aryan Khan was a "young man" who should be sent to rehab rather than jail.

The 23-year-old star son was arrested on October 3 after a drugs raid on a cruise ship party by Narcotics Control Bureau officers in disguise.

At present, Aryan is lodged at the Arthur Road Jail along with another accused Arbaaz Merchant. Whereas, Munmun Dhamecha is at Byculla women prison. The hearing will resume on Thursday afternoon.

Rohatgi, who appeared for Aryan Khan, told the court on Tuesday that his client was invited to the cruise as a special guest.

He told the court that there was "no case of possession of drugs" against Aryan Khan and that he was arrested wrongly. He also said, "it was a fit case for bail".

Rohatgi said the law provides a maximum of one year of imprisonment for small quantities of drugs.

"Law provides that for small quantities, the maximum punishment is one year of imprisonment. For consumption, there is rehabilitation as per law," Rohatgi argued on behalf of Aryan Khan.

"Aryan Khan was invited by one Pratik Gaba. He was like an organiser. He invited accused 1 Aryan and accused 2 Arbaz Merchant. Both were invited by the same person. They both landed up together at the cruise terminal," Rohtagi said.

A search was conducted and nothing was recovered from the accused 1 (Aryan Khan). No medical at any point was conducted to ascertain if he has taken any drug," he added.

Rohatgi said six grams of charas was recovered from accused number 2 (Arbaz Merchant) and Aryan had no relation with him except for arriving with him there."There was no recovery. There was no proof of consumption," he said."Many others were found with some amount of drugs so they allege that there was a general conspiracy. They are not charging me with consumption or possession but with conspiracy and conspiracy not with Arbaz but others," the former AG argued on behalf of Aryan Khan in the courtroom arguing before Justice Nitin Sambre.

Aryan Khan's bail rejected by court, to remain in Arthur road jail

Aryan Khan's arrest in the recent drug seizure case has once again reiterated the dangerous side of fame. There's no denying the fact that in India if you are a celebrity, your life is not your own. With the advent of social media, fans have got close access to stars and their lives like never before. How they live, what they eat, their partners, their kids- fans have access to everyone and everything. But stardom comes with a hefty price where the public is quick to put you on a pedestal and equally quick to throw stones at you the moment they notice a slip.
