<p>The seventh edition of the talk show is currently airing on Disney+ Hotstar and it has seen the who's who of Indian cinema such as Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vijay Deverakonda, who got their A-game on and spoke freely about their lives on Karan's famous sofa.<br />

Court grants KJo relief for controversial 2018 'Koffee With Karan' episode along with Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul

At this moment, Karan Johar jumps in and said "He's again promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 if I know right."&nbsp;<br />

Putting her phone on speaker, Ananya said "Kartik, say `Hey Karan, it`s me` and tell him what you`re doing." At this moment, Karan Johar jumps in and said "He's again promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 if I know right." Kartik in response said, "I`m at home, promoting 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.'" Akshay Kumar and Samantha Prabhu graced the couch in this episode and we must say it was the perfect collaboration of Bollywood and Tollywood! While Samantha made a lot of revelations on the show, Akshay did so too. Being the honest and entertaining person he is, Akshay has become one of the audience`s favourite recurring `Koffee` guests.</p>

<p>From discussing how he didn`t understand the term `nepotism` to admit that his wife`s humour is more evolved than his own, he covered it all on the show. When asked about certain film choices he made and how he ends up doing so much work, he was frank about his perspective and even went on to reveal that his film `Jaani Dushman` got him the money to buy his house.</p>

<p>He said, "You won`t believe it, today where I stay, I needed money to buy that place, and Jaani Dushman got me the money to buy my house".</p>

<p>Speaking about the film, he revealed when he came to Mumbai, he wanted to earn money and hence took up whatever film role came his way. He stated that his role in `Jaani Dushman` ended when the character died, but because he needed more money, he persuaded the director to bring his character back to life.</p>

<p>On the show, he even addressed trolls who call him "Canadian Kumar". During the episode when Karan asked Akshay if he gets trolled, the actor replied that he doesn`t go online much. He said, "At the most, they write about Canada. Which I don`t care." Karan then pointed out, "The trolls call you Canada Kumar." Akshay then replied, "Yeah Canada Kumar. Okay call me that."</p>

<p>"I have issued notices last week to Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul asking them to appear for deposition," Justice Jain told PTI on Monday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, it is not clear how the BCCI will co-ordinate with Pandya and Rahul's respective franchises Mumbai and Punjab to arrange for their deposition in between the ongoing IPL.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is learnt that they might depose ahead of the April 11 clash between the two teams in Mumbai. &nbsp;</p>

<p>"Both are playing IPL and the itinerary is packed with back to back matches and a gruelling travel schedule," a BCCI official said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ombudsman, who is also the BCCI's ad-hoc Ethics Officer, made it clear that for the matter to reach its logical conclusion, the duo needs to depose.</p>

<p>"As per principles of natural justice, I need to hear their side. It's up to them now to decide when they want to appear," Justice Jain said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is understood that both players have to appear in person and not through their legal representatives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The controversial episode was aired in the first week of January, triggering outrage, which prompted the COA to call the duo back from the tour of Australia handing them provisional suspensions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The two tendered unconditional apologies and their ban was provisionally lifted pending inquiry.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Once Jain assumed his role, the COA handed over the matter to him for the completion of the inquiry.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jain has also received a complaint about former India captain Sourav Ganguly's alleged 'Conflict of Interest' in his dual role of being the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president and an adviser to IPL franchise Delhi.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I am supposed to receive a fresh set of complaints on various issues today. I don't know whether the issue (Ganguly's Conflict) is in this lot or not. As and when I get the details, I will have a detailed look into the matter," said Jain.&nbsp;</p>

<p>One of the three Indian players, who has an international hundred across all formats, said there was a point he felt that those who are physically there with him are his real friends.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"You share a lot with them but you forget that there are people back home, who have seen your struggles, seen you when you were nothing. They have helped you because they liked the real you. You rediscover your relationships with a lot of people," he said.</p>

<p>However, he was thankful to the Indian team members and the support staff, who were there during his trying times.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Even when I had to leave Australia and go back home, there were a lot of people who came up to me and put an arm around the shoulder and said 'It's okay, we have all been there and we have all made mistakes, and we have all had to face punishments in whatever way'."</p>

<p>Now the Committee of Administrators (CoA), after consulting new amicus curiae PS Narsimha, decided to lift the suspension pending an inquiry, for which an ombudsman is to be appointed by the Supreme Court.</p>

<p>The apex court has listed the matter tentatively for February 5.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The above matter and decision has been taken with the concurrence of the Learned Amicus Curiae, Mr&nbsp;PS&nbsp;Narasimha. In view of the above, the suspension orders dated 11.01.2019 is immediately lifted pending appointment and adjudication of the allegations by the BCCI Ombudsman," read a statement of CoA, issued by the BCCI.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Pandya is now expected to join the team in New Zealand while Rahul might play in either domestic circuit or show up for India A in an ongoing home series against England Lions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Diana Edulji wanted the BCCI office-bearers to be involved in deciding the fate of the two cricketers, CoA chief Vinod Rai had dismissed the suggestion as it would have been in violation of the Board constitution.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The CoA said the decision to suspend the two players was taken under "Rule 46 of the approved BCCI Constitution", which covers players' conduct that can bring the Board into disrepute.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The idea of letting the players get on with the game was first mooted by BCCI acting president CK Khanna, who wanted the suspensions to be lifted pending inquiry.&nbsp;</p>
