<p>Pandya and Rahul were provisionally suspended by the Committee of Administrators (COA) for their loose talk on chat show "Koffee With Karan" before the ban was lifted pending an inquiry by the ombudsman.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I have issued notices last week to Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul asking them to appear for deposition," Justice Jain told PTI on Monday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, it is not clear how the BCCI will co-ordinate with Pandya and Rahul's respective franchises Mumbai and Punjab to arrange for their deposition in between the ongoing IPL.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is learnt that they might depose ahead of the April 11 clash between the two teams in Mumbai. &nbsp;</p>

<p>"Both are playing IPL and the itinerary is packed with back to back matches and a gruelling travel schedule," a BCCI official said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The ombudsman, who is also the BCCI's ad-hoc Ethics Officer, made it clear that for the matter to reach its logical conclusion, the duo needs to depose.</p>

<p>"As per principles of natural justice, I need to hear their side. It's up to them now to decide when they want to appear," Justice Jain said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is understood that both players have to appear in person and not through their legal representatives.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The controversial episode was aired in the first week of January, triggering outrage, which prompted the COA to call the duo back from the tour of Australia handing them provisional suspensions.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Crossing the line comes naturally on "Koffee With Karan". It comes with the territory. The show is an extension of Karan Johar's personality. Everyone loves Karan, even if he is a little leery. No one minds if he asks what would be considered improper in other circumstances. He is a part of the super-privileged elite of Bollywood who have access to everyone who counts. And that makes him more powerful than almost anyone else in Bollywood.</p>

<p>Karan's own love life is zilch. But he is a love guru to many of the biggest actors and actresses. Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor are some of the stars who lean on Karan for heart-related advice. Karan has solved more love tangles than Mike Myers in Love Guru.</p>

<p>I once asked him about his status as Bollywood's resident love consultant and said, "I don't have a love life of my own. So I invest all my unused energy in others' love life."</p>

<p>This was long before the twin towers of his existence. His children, Roohi and Yash, have given him a reason to come home quickly after work. And Karan, who made sure he makes his presence felt at every happening-do in Mumbai, is no longer that wild a party animal. He would rather have <em>dudhoo</em> with his babies than Koffee with the stars.&nbsp;</p>

Karan Johar pulled a coup of sorts as he hosted Team 'Baahubali' on his chat show ' Koffee With Karan' on Sunday night. The film's director SS Rajamouli came with his two stars- Rana Daguubati and Prabhas as they spoke about the success of the film, south film industry and the single status of both the actors of the film. Karan, known to ask his guests about rumoured affairs asked Rana about his longstanding friendship with actress Trisha Krishnan. For many years the actor has been linked to Trisha but both have denied being involved. But on Sunday night, the actor admitted that they did date for a very brief period of time. "She's been a friend of mine from a decade. We have been friends for very long and dated for a little time. But I guess, things didn't work out." When Karan asked if he was single, he said 'Yes' and when he was asked if Trisha is single, Rana stated he didn't know. Karan also quizzed about Prabhas and Anushka Shetty's alleged affair which the actor denied and Rana vouched for it. Prabhas maintained that Anushka and he were friends for the past 8 years and they were never romantically involved. The host asked Rajamouli on who he thought would get married first. Rajamouli said Rana was likely to get married before Prabhas. Calling Prabhas lazy, Rajamouli said, "Rana is so structured everything has to be broken into structures and pieces for him. His whole life is like 1-10 years, 10-15 years, 15-20 years. Marriage is an aspect, a box to be ticked. That will get ticked. I don't know whether that marriage will last."

Koffee with Karan: Get ready for Vicky and Ayushmann's bromance

<p>Karan Johar's popular show 'Koffee With Karan' in its sixth season has hosted some fresh pair of guests. There were a lot of firsts; Arjun Kapoor appeared on the show with sister Janhvi, Kajol, a regular on the show, came with her husband Ajay Devgn, while Alia and Deepika shared the couch for the first time.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Now, Johar reportedly has asked Baahubali trio- actor Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and filmmaker SS Rajamouli to grace his show. Johar was the presenter of the two 'Baahbubali'films, has been keen to get to get the team on his show owing to their immense popularity. A source told a daily, "Given that they are the minds behind the biggest Indian film and have gained pan-India popularity, KJo wanted them to feature on the show. Prabhas, who is otherwise media-shy, agreed to make an appearance only as a mark of his respect for Karan. The episode will be shot later this month. Prabhas, Rana and Rajamouli will trace the journey of Baahubali while revealing several interesting nuggets that the audience may not be aware of.”</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Johar on Thursday shot with Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan Kapoor. This will be the first time that the Kapoor siblings will be appearing on any show together. Sonam has appeared on the show with her father Anil Kapor in a previous season.&nbsp;</p>

Now, Johar reportedly has asked Baahubali trio- actor Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and filmmaker SS Rajamouli to grace his show. Johar was the presenter of the two 'Baahbubali'films, has been keen to get to get the team on his show owing to their immense popularity. A source told a daily, "Given that they are the minds behind the biggest Indian film and have gained pan-India popularity, KJo wanted them to feature on the show. Prabhas, who is otherwise media-shy, agreed to make an appearance only as a mark of his respect for Karan. The episode will be shot later this month. Prabhas, Rana and Rajamouli will trace the journey of Baahubali while revealing several interesting nuggets that the audience may not be aware of.” Meanwhile, Johar on Thursday shot with Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan Kapoor. This will be the first time that the Kapoor siblings will be appearing on any show together. Sonam has appeared on the show with her father Anil Kapor in a previous season.
