Koffee With Karan: Rana Daguubati opens up about his break up with Trisha and his single status

Karan Johar pulled a coup of sorts as he hosted Team 'Baahubali' on his chat show ' Koffee With Karan' on Sunday night. The film's director SS Rajamouli came with his two stars- Rana Daguubati and Prabhas as they spoke about the success of the film, south film industry and the single status of both the actors of the film.

Karan, known to ask his guests about rumoured affairs asked Rana about his longstanding friendship with actress Trisha Krishnan. For many years the actor has been linked to Trisha but both have denied being involved. But on Sunday night, the actor admitted that they did date for a very brief period of time.

"She's been a friend of mine from a decade. We have been friends for very long and dated for a little time. But I guess, things didn't work out."When Karan asked if he was single, he said 'Yes' and when he was asked if Trisha is single, Rana stated he didn't know.

Karan also quizzed about Prabhas and Anushka Shetty's alleged affair which the actor denied and Rana vouched for it. Prabhas maintained that Anushka and he were friends for the past 8 years and they were never romantically involved.

The host asked Rajamouli on who he thought would get married first. Rajamouli said Rana was likely to get married before Prabhas. Calling Prabhas lazy, Rajamouli said, "Rana is so structured everything has to be broken into structures and pieces for him. His whole life is like 1-10 years, 10-15 years, 15-20 years. Marriage is an aspect, a box to be ticked. That will get ticked. I don't know whether that marriage will last."
