A character like Zoya is important and necessary to tell people that girls can be nurturers as well as fierce protectors. Zoya is one of the most cherished roles of my career!”</p>

<p>She added further: “I love action as a genre and playing a spy is a dream come true! I knew that this was going to be a part of my legacy, so I always give my 200 per cent for this franchise. Every Tiger film has taken Zoya a notch above, and she has fought harder, and it has been bloodier. That’s the USP of the character, which I love!”</p>

<p>Talking about her preparation, Katrina shared that&nbsp;it was ''the toughest training of my career so far.''</p>

<p>Katrina added: “For <em>Tiger 3</em>, my action prep was at least for about two months. We wanted Zoya to look agile, have more speed, and greater strength. I really had to go through the grind and it was definitely the toughest training of my career so far, when you see the kind of action that Zoya has done, you will realise that such sequences may not have been attempted by a women before.”</p>

<p>“I’m not surprised. I thought it was pretty epic when we were shooting it. We learned and practised the fight for a couple weeks and then shot it. The set design was absolutely gorgeous and the fight was really fun to do. It was wonderful being on an international film,” she says.</p>

<p>“One of the main challenges was definitely the wardrobe! Our towels needed to stay in the proper place and with so much movement and fight choreography, it was definitely a challenge. We ended up having the towels sewn closed at certain points and that helped a lot,” she said.&nbsp;</p>

The film is set to release later in December this year. The director recently revealed that the film's Tamil version will be different from the Hindi version of the movie.&nbsp;<br />

While speaking to News18, Sriram Raghavan said, “It’s not one film, it’s two films. There is a Hindi film, which has got Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif and one child along with a few other characters. There is a Tamil film with the same Vijay Sethupathi, Katrina and the child, and the other actors are different.”<br />

He further added, "So I wanted to make a Tamil film also since Vijay is a very acclaimed actor in the South and I thought it will be just good for us to make two versions of this film. They are broadly the same, 95 percent they are the same but of course, language changes, and some characters also I wanted to change so that it doesn’t look like a dubbed film. I am a Tamilian myself so this is one chance so let me also try to make a Tamil film so this is two in one kind of film.”&nbsp;<br />

Raghavan also addressed the unusual pairing of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. Raghavan stated that the film's story was such that he needed an 'off-beat' pairing.&nbsp;<br />

"I was trying various combinations and permutations and I happened to meet Vijay at a festival in Melbourne and I’d seen some of his films. I just felt, ‘What if I do this odd combination’ and it has got its curiosity value, I hope. Both are very interesting characters in the film. When you see the film you’ll why I cast them. I just wanted two people who have never worked with each other and you can’t even think<em> ye saath mein kya karenge,"</em> said the<em> Andhadhun</em> director.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Helmed by Sriram Raghavan, <em>Merry Christmas</em> brings together Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi for the first time on screen. The movie’s release date was recently announced as December 15 and is set to clash with Karan Johar-produced Sidharth Malhotra starrer <em>Yodha.</em></p>

Katrina turned 40 on July 16 and celebrated the special day with friends and family. <p>It has led to several users'&nbsp;playlists getting visibly shorter. The listeners only realised&nbsp;that the songs were missing after they hit play.<br />

Spotify has mentioned on its website that it does not provide access to all the music and podcasts in the world.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Like most other streaming services, it makes licensing deals with publishers and rights owners so it's allowed to provide their tracks.<br />

<p>Horror comedies are not easy. The script has to strike the right balance between humour and horror — it should have plenty of both. This is why most horror comedies are basically comedies with zombies or demons thrown in. Gurmmeet Singh's 'Phone Bhoot' also struggles to find that balance throughout its 10-hour runtime (or so it seemed) and never truly succeeds. It's not entirely without its charms, though. But more on that later.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film follows Major (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Gullu (Ishaan Khatter), two friends who breathe and live all things spooky. Their abode seems to be a set of a shlocky 1980s horror movie -- lurid lighting, skull props, serial killer masks, a telephone shaped like a grinning skull, a life-sized figure of a ghostie that is ensconced like a diety, and so on.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They initially refuse and just steal her idea. But of course actually facing ghosts, demons, and other supernatural nasties without the assistance of a ghost-like Ragini is not a cakewalk. They soon run into actual demonic trouble and in the end, have to team up with her.</p>

<p>But what does a lost soul (literally) like Ragini get from this arrangement? Turns out, she has motives of her own that may bring them into conflict with a sinister and powerful Tantrik Atmaram (Jackie Shroff).</p>

<p>'Phone Bhoot' is packed with references to old-time horror movies, both Indian and Hollywood. 'Ghostbusters' franchise is the biggest influence here. Some, unkind people might call 'Phone Bhoot' derivative in that regard. The logo of Phone Bhoot (the company) bears a resemblance to Ghostbusters's, their car and Ectomobile are alike, and there are similar jumpsuits.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To me, these felt like nice homages and callbacks, and I deeply enjoyed them. But those still end up as just interesting additions. The meat of this matter-- the script of 'Phone Bhoot' -- did not do much to me. The dialogue is trite, with actors doing the heavy lifting and trying their best to make it sound like conversations humans can actually have.</p>

<p>The humour is also a hit-and-miss. This is despite the trio of Chaturvedi, Khatter, and Kaif giving pretty good comedic performances that vibe nicely with the tone. Speaking of tone, its lightness, silliness, and stylistic choices do help the film retain a self-referential air for a while, but that runtime ensures that by the time we have reached the end, the film is nothing but a slog.</p>

<p>There are also minor annoyances like in-your-face product placements. In one scene, I kid you not, Katrina briefly reenacts that Slice advertisement in which she does unspeakable things to a mango. The film became sort of horrifying just then, just not in the way the writers wanted.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'Phone Bhoot' had an interesting premise, but a badly written and poorly-paced screenplay made sure all the cool stuff was buried under tired jokes and exposition. Good writers are worth their weight in gold. About time the makers of our commercial cinema realised that.&nbsp;<br />

<p>What better day to announce the release date of Tiger 3 than the day 'Ek Tha Tiger' completes 10 years? On August 15, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan took to social media to mark the 10th anniversary of their superhit 'Ek Tha Tiger'.&nbsp;<br />

The film, helmed by Kabir Khan, was an espionage drama featuring Khan and Kaif in lead roles. It had released on August 15 2012 and was a blockbuster of the year. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film's success prompted the producers to make a sequel, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film had released in 2017.&nbsp;<br />

On August 15, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan took to social media to mark the 10th anniversary of their superhit 'Ek Tha Tiger'. The film, helmed by Kabir Khan, was an espionage drama featuring Khan and Kaif in lead roles. It had released on August 15 2012 and was a blockbuster of the year. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film's success prompted the producers to make a sequel, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film had released in 2017. Now, the makers are coming back with 'Tiger 3'- the third film in the franchise. On Monday, Khan announced the film's release date- which will be an Eid release and hit theatres on April 21, 2023.
