<p>Damodar, Botswana Cricket head, also contesting for a place in the CEC from Associate Nations, was one of those involved to stage this competition nearly two decades ago.</p>

<p>Starting in 2005, the first of the two contested editions took place in Centurion and Durban, while Bengaluru and Chennai in India staged the second edition two years later in 2007. As initially planned for three editions, the deal broke due to fallout with the broadcasters.</p>

<p>Damodar also revealed its business model, where 80 per cent of the revenue generated from this tournament would go to the African continent, with the remaining sum distributed among the cash-rich Asian board.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, per the new plan discussed, the Asian and African cricket boards aim to engage at multiple levels, with matches between the continents to be played in three stages - development (primarily at the under-19 level, seen as an investment), emerging, and pinnacle levels, with the latter involving current international players.</p>

<p>"That is the plan. We have yet to decide on the frequency - whether it will be annual or biennial. Much will depend on the calendar, the Future Tours Programme (FTP), and the international commitments of the players," Damodar continued.</p>

All the arrivals at the airport will also take place at the dedicated arrival areas on the ground floor. &nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the release, DIAL has installed proper signage at strategic locations and on-road markings to help people reach their specific departure points. Additionally, guards from the security firm RAXA will also help people reach their appropriate departure points. The release also added that upon arrival, passengers will take the same route to exit the terminal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Bumrah has been rested in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka as part of the workload management. He is not part of the ongoing series where both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to the side for the ODI leg. He has struggled with injuries in recent times and wants to be available for the important series for India in the future.</p>

<p>Bumrah is likely to return for the Bangladesh series in September and will be the side’s lead bowler in the five-match Test series against Australia. His mother was a key attraction when he got out of the car and was then seen hugging her and other friends on his way home. <p>The player was left stranded with the rest of the Indian team in Barbados after Team India won the T20 World Cup. A chartered flight was then arranged for the Indian team last Wednesday after which the players returned home on Thursday. They were given a warm welcome by the Indian fans in New Delhi after which they met Prime Minister Narendra Modi.</p>
