Matthew Perry of Friends fame dies at 54: Here's a look at his movies, TV shows

Disney has given fans an exciting first glimpse into the highly anticipated live-action remake of the timeless classic Snow White. In a newly released image, Rachel Zegler is transformed into the iconic Disney Princess, Snow White, standing alongside her beloved Seven Dwarfs. However, eager fans will need to exercise patience, as the film's release date has been pushed back to March 21, 2025, from its original date of March 22, 2024.

In this reimagined version, Rachel Zegler takes on the role of Snow White, while Gal Gadot portrays The Evil Queen. The talented Ansu Kabia co-stars as the Huntsman, and Andrew Burnap introduces a new character to the story named Jonathan.

A significant departure from the original animated film, the Seven Dwarfs has been reimagined for this remake. Furthermore, Rachel Zegler has noted that this adaptation will shift the focus away from the romantic subplot and instead emphasise Snow White's journey to become the leader her father always encouraged her to be.

Rachel Zegler's casting in the lead role is especially noteworthy, as she will be the first Latina to portray Snow White. This decision, along with the revised storyline, has generated some online criticism for veering away from the source material.

Netizens on X weren't too impressed by the CGI employed to create the seven dwarfs. One user wrote, “This looks so creepy I’m sorry.” Another said, “This is one of the classics they should’ve left alone.” A third comment read,&nbsp;“CGI looks awful movie Twitter. I’m sorry it does.” “Aren’t they tired of these? Aren’t there any other fairytales out there to do?” a fourth quipped.

The original animated classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs&nbsp;made its debut in 1937, marking Disney's first-ever feature-length animated film. Now, more than eight decades later, the creative team behind the live-action remake has promised an updated and reimagined version of the beloved fairy tale.

Zegler previously wowed audiences with her portrayal of Maria in Steven Spielberg's 2021 adaptation of the classic musical West Side Story. This breakout role for the actor-singer has paved the way for more remarkable projects, including her appearance in Shazam: Fury of the Gods&nbsp;and her forthcoming role in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Netizens troll first look poster of live-action Snow White remake starring Rachel Zegler

In a recent interview, renowned actress Sharon Stone opened up about a harrowing medical ordeal from 2001, where she survived a brain haemorrhage, revealing that doctors initially thought she was "faking" her condition.

The Basic Instinct&nbsp;star detailed the traumatic experience when she was rushed to the hospital after suffering a stroke that resulted in a nine-day brain bleed, ultimately necessitating a two-year hiatus from her acting career.

Stone recounted the moment she woke up in a Los Angeles emergency room with excruciating head pain, saying, "I remember waking up on a gurney and asking the kid wheeling it where I was going, and him saying, 'brain surgery'."

She further revealed that a doctor had decided, without her knowledge or consent, to proceed with exploratory brain surgery and sent her off to the operating room.&nbsp;

"What I learned through that experience is that in a medical setting, women often just aren't heard, particularly when you don't have a female doctor," Stone stated in the interview with Vogue.

Recalling the moment doctors finally recognised her brain haemorrhage, Stone explained, "They missed it with the first angiogram and decided that I was faking it."

Fortunately, her best friend persuaded them to perform a second angiogram, leading to the discovery that she had been haemorrhaging into her brain. "My best friend talked them into giving me a second one and they discovered that I had been haemorrhaging into my brain, my whole subarachnoid pool and that my vertebral artery was ruptured. I would have died if they had sent me home,"&nbsp;Stone revealed.

The aftermath of the haemorrhage left Stone with debilitating effects, including a drooping right side of her face, severe foot drag on her left side and severe stuttering.

The actress still deals with the consequences of this traumatic incident, taking daily medication to address the stuttering and severe brain seizures. She described the experience as "painful" and noted that she suffered from painful knots on her head that felt like she had been punched.

Despite her incredible journey to recovery, Stone revealed that she didn't publicly share details of her brain bleed for years because she was afraid of how the public would react. She concealed her disability and rarely ventured outside, fearing that nobody would accept her.

Renowned supermodel Bella Hadid has broken her silence on the escalating Israel-Hamas conflict, drawing on her Palestinian heritage from her father's side. Her statement comes amidst a growing wave of concern over the ongoing violence in the Middle Eastern region.

Sharing a heartfelt and thought-provoking statement on her Instagram account, the supermodel condemned the bloodshed occurring on both sides of the conflict. In her words, "We are one, and God has created all equal. All bloodshed, tears, and bodies should be mourned with the same respect."

Making this statement was not without its challenges, as Hadid candidly acknowledged that her family had recently been subjected to death threats due to their high-profile background.

"I cannot be silenced any longer. Fear is not an option. The people and children of Palestine, especially in Gaza, cannot afford our silence," she asserted.

Bella Hadid went on to shed light on the suffering endured by the Palestinian people over the years, citing her father's personal experience of being uprooted from his home. She emphasised the importance of recognising the hardships faced by Palestinians, who are often unfairly portrayed as terrorists resisting peace.

"It is harmful, it is shameful, and it is categorically untrue," she wrote.

"My family witnessed 75 years of violence against Palestinian people – most notably, brutal settler invasions which led to the destruction of entire communities, murder in cold blood, and the forcible removal of families from their homes. The practice of settlements on Palestinian land still continues to this day. The pain of that is unimaginable."

In her statement, Bella also took a firm stance against the use of terrorism in any conflict and expressed her condolences to Israeli families affected by recent events.

"I mourn for the Israeli families that have been dealing with the pain and aftermath of October 7th. Regardless of the history of the land, I condemn the terrorist attacks on any civilians, anywhere," she stated.

The statement shows that Bella recognises the complexity and intricacy of the Israel-Hamas conflict and looks at the situation with empathy, desiring a peaceful resolution to the ongoing crisis.&nbsp;

<blockquote>
"Forgive me for my silence. I have yet to find the ideal words for this deeply intricate and horrific past 2 weeks, weeks that have turned the world's attention back towards a situation that has been taking innocent lives and affecting families for decades. I have much to say, but for today, I will keep it short.

I've been sent hundreds of death threats daily, my phone number has been leaked, and my family has felt to be in danger. But I can not be silenced any longer. Fear is not an option. The people and children of Palestine, especially in Gaza, cannot afford our silence. We are not brave – they are.

My heart is bleeding with pain from the trauma I am seeing unfold, as well as the generational trauma of my Palestinian blood. Seeing the aftermath of the airstrikes in Gaza, I mourn with all the mothers who have lost children and the children who cry alone, all the lost fathers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, and friends who will never again walk this earth.

I mourn for the Israeli families that have been dealing with the pain and aftermath of October 7th. Regardless of the history of the land, I condemn the terrorist attacks on any civilians, anywhere.

Harming women and children and inflicting terror does not and should not do any good for the Free Palestine movement. I believe deep in my heart, that no child, no people anywhere, should be taken away from their family either temporarily or indefinitely. That goes for Israeli and Palestinian people alike.

It's important to understand the hardship of what it is to be Palestinian, in a world that sees us as nothing more than terrorists resisting peace. It is harmful, it is shameful, and it's categorically untrue.

My father was born in Nazareth in the year of the Nakba (the displacement of 750,000 Palestinians in 1948). Nine days after he was born, he, in his mother's arms, along with his family were expelled from their home of Palestine, becoming refugees, away from a place they once called home. My grandparents, never being allowed to return.

My family witnessed 75 years of violence against Palestinian people - most notably, brutal settler invasions which led to the destruction of entire communities, murder in cold blood and the forcible removal of families from their homes. The practice of settlements on Palestinian land still continues to this day. The pain of that is unimaginable.

We must all stand together in defending humanity and compassion - and demanding that our leaders do the same. All religions are peaceful – it is governments that are corrupt, and intertwining the two makes for the greatest sin of all. We are one, and God has created all equal. All bloodshed, tears, and bodies should be mourned with the same respect.

There is an urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza that must be attended to. Families need access to water and food. Hospitals need fuel to power generators, tend to the wounded and keep people alive.

Wars have laws and they must be upheld, no matter what.

We need to keep pressure on our leaders, wherever we are, not to forget the urgent needs of the people of Gaza, and to ensure that innocent Palestinian civilians are not the forgotten casualties of this war.

I stand with humanity, knowing that peace and safety belong to us all."

Bella Hadid breaks silence on Israel-Hamas' ongoing conflict: 'My heart is bleeding'

Paris Hilton's 2021 wedding to Carter Reum was a fashion extravaganza as she donned a total of six wedding dresses on her special day. The socialite recently revealed in an interview with British Vogue that she had a staggering 45 different wedding dresses to choose from, thanks to the excitement of designers worldwide to be part of her nuptials.

“I actually wore six dresses the night of my wedding and it was because I literally had 45 of them,” she disclosed.

Hilton's stylist received calls from designers worldwide, all eager to contribute to the glamorous event by crafting custom-made dresses for the bride. Although she couldn't wear all 45 options, Hilton mentioned that she did her best to showcase as many as possible.

Among the myriad choices, Hilton knew immediately that she wanted to walk down the aisle in an Oscar De La Renta wedding dress. She aimed for a princess-like look with 3D flowers, reminiscent of Grace Kelly's iconic style.

For the ceremony, she fulfilled her vision, wearing a long-sleeved, flower-embroidered couture gown. Hilton has previously described this dress as "timeless, elegant, chic, and iconic."

Her first dance saw a costume change as she slipped into an off-the-shoulder Galia Lahav ballgown, complemented by a dazzling tiara. The off-the-shoulder theme continued with her third dress, which was shorter and featured floral appliqués, echoing the style of her first gown.

Hilton brought variety to her wedding attire with a low-cut Pamela Rowland design, complete with a sparkling sequin cape. When it was time to hit the dance floor, she had two different options: a sheer, silver star-adorned dress and a full hot pink Alice + Olivia ensemble, ending the night in her signature bubblegum style.

Throughout her interview with British Vogue, Hilton reminisced about her love for all things pink and revealed her early influence on the fashion world. She fondly recalled an iconic photo of herself from 2001, wearing a hot pink Versace dress with a Barbie backpack in hand.

“I was going for the Barbiecore vibes before there was even the word Barbiecore,” Hilton said. “I invented it. Barbie is my idol. She is such an icon. I’ve looked up to her my entire life.”

In addition to Barbie's bold fashion, Hilton expressed admiration for Barbie's ability to be anything she set her mind to, a sentiment she has embraced in her own life as a multi-faceted entrepreneur and celebrity.

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a host of Hollywood celebrities, artists, and entertainment executives have come together, urging US President Joe Biden to press for a ceasefire in the embattled regions and to ensure the safe release of hostages. The stars have also signed a heartfelt letter thanking President Biden for his leadership amid the escalating crisis.

This star-studded list of celebrities includes Bradley Cooper, Courteney Cox, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Bob Odenkirk, Constance Wu, Tiffany Haddish, Aubrey Plaza, Zack Snyder, Shawn Levy, Susan Sarandon, Kristen Stewart, Quinta Brunson, Ramy Youssef, Riz Ahmed, Mahershala Ali, and many others. These influential figures lent their voices to a call for peace and the safe return of those held captive.

The initiative was spearheaded by a group of Hollywood leaders who have come together under the banner of 'No Hostage Left Behind.' The aim is clear: to bring attention to the dire situation in Israel and Gaza and to advocate for an immediate ceasefire, along with the safe release of hostages.

In a passionate letter addressed to President Biden, the celebrities wrote, "We urge your administration, and all world leaders, to honour all of the lives in the Holy Land and call for and facilitate a ceasefire without delay – an end to the bombing of Gaza, and the safe release of hostages. We refuse to tell future generations the story of our silence, that we stood by and did nothing. As (UN) Emergency Relief Chief Martin Griffiths told UN News, 'History is watching.'"

The letter reflects the relief felt upon the recent release of American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan, and the release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, even as their husbands remain in captivity. However, the celebrities expressed their deep concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, are still held captive by terrorists and face the grave threat of torture and death.

Beyond their call for a ceasefire and hostage release, the letter also extended gratitude to President Biden for his unwavering moral conviction and support for both Jewish and Palestinian people. <blockquote>
Dear President Biden,

We are heartened by Friday’s release of the two American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan and by today’s release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, whose husbands remain in captivity.

But our relief is tempered by our overwhelming concern that 220 innocent people, including 30 children, remain captive by terrorists, threatened with torture and death. They were taken by Hamas in the savage massacre of October 7, where over 1,400 Israelis were slaughtered — women raped, families burned alive, and infants beheaded.

Thank you for your unshakable moral conviction, leadership, and support for the Jewish people, who have been terrorized by Hamas since the group’s founding over 35 years ago, and for the Palestinians, who have also been terrorized, oppressed, and victimized by Hamas for the last 17 years that the group has been governing Gaza.

We all want the same thing: Freedom for Israelis and Palestinians to live side by side in peace. Freedom from the brutal violence spread by Hamas. And most urgently, in this moment, freedom for the hostages.

We urge everyone to not rest until all hostages are released. No hostage can be left behind. Whether American, Argentinian, Australian, Azerbaijani, Brazilian, British, Canadian, Chilean, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Eritrean, Filipino, French, German, Indian, Israeli, Italian, Kazakh, Mexican, Panamanian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, South African, Spanish, Sri Lankan, Thai, Ukrainian, Uzbekistani or otherwise, we need to bring them home.

Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a host of Hollywood celebrities, artists, and entertainment executives have come together, urging US President Joe Biden to press for a ceasefire in the embattled regions and to ensure the safe release of hostages.

As (UN) Emergency Relief Chief Martin Griffiths told UN News, 'History is watching.'" The letter reflects the relief felt upon the recent release of American hostages, Judith Ranaan and her daughter Natalie Ranaan, and the release of two Israelis, Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz, even as their husbands remain in captivity. It emphasises a shared desire for freedom and peace for both communities, highlighting the urgent need to put an end to the violence spread by Hamas. The letter closes with an appeal for humanitarian aid to reach those affected by the conflict in Gaza, where conditions have become dire due to Israel's bombardment. Hollywood actors call for release of those held hostage by Hamas in open letter to Joe Biden

Paris Hilton is sharing her heartache and frustration over the recent reaction to a photo she posted of her 8-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, on her social media.

On October 19, Hilton, 42, shared a series of photos of her son's first trip to New York City, whom she shares with her husband, Carter Reum. However, the post garnered a negative response, with some followers making hurtful comments about her son's appearance. A TikTok user pointed out the negative response, leading Hilton to respond and defend her child by stating that he is "perfectly healthy" and just has a "large brain."

Expanding on her response to these comments, Hilton took to her Instagram Story on Monday to address the situation further. She expressed that while living in the spotlight invites comments, targeting her child or anyone else's is "unacceptable" and deeply hurtful.

"This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return," wrote the new mom.

Hilton also acknowledged the scrutiny she faces in navigating motherhood in the public eye. She mentioned the challenges she encounters, with some people assuming she's not a good mother if she doesn't post about her baby, while others are cruel and hateful when she does.

Paris Hilton slams trolls for commenting about her son's head, calls it 'cruel and hateful'

Arijit Singh, the immensely popular singer with a massive fan following across India, recently found himself in the spotlight, but not for his musical talent. A video of Arijit scolding a fan has surfaced on the internet, drawing attention from fans and the public alike.

In the viral video, Arijit&nbsp;can be seen getting visibly upset at a fan who pursued his car while honking incessantly, all for the sake of a selfie. The incident took place when Arijit was on the move and the fan's actions irked him to the point that he decided to address the situation directly. It's a testament to the fact that fame doesn't come without its&nbsp;drawbacks.

In the video, Arijit stopped his vehicle and sternly questioned the fan, "Do you know how many times you’ve blown the horn? How old are you?" The fan admitted to being 23 years old, to which Arijit responded, "Which means, you are an adult, right? Do you know how many times you’ve honked? Don’t you know things like these result in others' suffering? You did it all just so you could click a picture with me, right? Okay, let’s do it, let’s stop others here so you can click your selfie. Arijit Singh, the immensely popular singer with a massive fan following across India, recently found himself in the spotlight, but not for his musical talent. A video of Arijit scolding a fan has surfaced on the internet, drawing attention from fans and the public alike. In the viral video, Arijit can be seen getting visibly upset at a fan who pursued his car while honking incessantly, all for the sake of a selfie. The incident took place when Arijit was on the move and the fan's actions irked him to the point that he decided to address the situation directly. It's a testament to the fact that fame doesn't come without its drawbacks. I won’t let you pass without it now, let’s do it." A video of the same is doing rounds on social media since morning. Take a look! When Arijit lost his cool! What is dyslexia?

Dyslexia is a common learning disability that primarily affects reading, spelling, and writing skills. It is a neurological condition that has nothing to do with a person's intelligence. Dyslexia can make it challenging for individuals to decode written words, recognise and process sounds in words, and understand the relationships between letters and sounds.

The specific symptoms and severity of dyslexia can vary from person to person, but common signs may include difficulty with:

<ul>
	<li>Reading words accurately and fluently.</li>
	<li>Spelling words correctly.</li>
<li>Understanding and using phonological (sound) awareness and phonics (the relationship between sounds and letters).</li>
<li>Recognising sight words (common words that are not easily decoded).</li>
<li>Organising and expressing thoughts in writing.</li>
</ul>

The Bombay High Court, in a landmark decision, has dismissed a petition seeking a comprehensive ban on Indian citizens, companies, and associations from engaging Pakistani artists, including actors, singers, musicians, lyricists, and technicians.

A division bench of Justice Sunil B Shukre and Justice Firdosh P Pooniwalla firmly stated that the petition represents a "retrograde step in promoting cultural harmony, unity, and peace, and has no merit in it."

The petitioner, a cine worker, had sought directions from the Information and Broadcasting Ministry, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Ministry of Home Affairs to issue appropriate notifications imposing a ban and prohibiting the granting of visas to Pakistani artists working in India.

The plea cited the resolution passed by the All-Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attacks, along with similar resolutions by the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) and the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE), which banned Pakistani artists from the Indian film industry. The MNS Cinema Wing also cautioned filmmakers against hiring Pakistani artists.

Advocate Vibhav Krishna, representing the petitioner, argued that allowing Pakistani artists to work in India could lead to discrimination against Indian artists. He contended that the favourable environment available to Pakistani artists in India is not reciprocated for Indian artists in Pakistan. According to Krishna, the ban is essential to prevent the exploitation of commercial opportunities by Pakistani artists in India, which could potentially deprive Indian artists of similar opportunities.

However, the Bombay High Court deemed the petitioner's stance misplaced, emphasising the importance of cultural harmony and peace between nations. The court underlined that patriotism should not breed hostility but, rather, should foster unity and cultural exchanges.

The court further pointed out that the resolutions passed by private associations, although expressing a sentiment, lacked statutory force and could not be enforced through judicial orders. The judges asserted that enforcing such bans would contravene the fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 19(1)(a), 19(1)(g), and 21 of the Constitution.

Additionally, the court highlighted the "positive steps" taken by the Indian government in promoting international peace and security. It cited the example of allowing the Pakistani cricket team to participate in the World Cricket Cup held in India, asserting that entertaining such petitions would undermine such efforts.

Bombay HC rejects plea to ban Pakistani artists from working in India

Actor Dalip Tahil, best known for his roles in iconic films like Baazigar&nbsp;and Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, has been handed a two-month jail sentence in a hit-and-run case dating back to 2018. The verdict comes after a long legal battle over charges of drunk driving and injuring a woman in an autorickshaw during the incident.

According to a report by Live Mint, the court relied on the testimony of a doctor who indicated that the smell of alcohol was detected on Dalip Tahil, and his pupils were dilated. The court considered these findings as compelling evidence that led to the actor's conviction. Notably, at the time of his arrest in 2018, Tahil had refused to provide blood samples for an alcohol test.

The incident in question took place in 2018 when Tahil's car collided with an autorickshaw, resulting in injuries to two passengers. Attempting to flee the scene, the actor was thwarted by a traffic jam caused by Ganesh Visarjan processions.

Passengers from the autorickshaw managed to catch up with Tahil's car and confronted him, leading to an argument and physical altercations. Following this, the police were summoned, and the actor was taken into custody.

Describing the collision and its aftermath, an officer with the Khar police told The Hindu, "The impact of the collision caused Ms Gandhi to sustain a severe jolt to her back and neck. Ms Gandhi and Mr Chugh got off the autorickshaw and saw the car trying to flee towards Santacruz. The car could not get far as the street was crowded due to Ganeshotsav immersion processions."

The actor has not yet reacted to his sentencing.

Tahil has gained popularity on social media in recent months for his humorous videos. His impressive filmography includes over 100 films, with notable roles in movies such as Baazigar, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Rock On!!, Ra.One, and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He was last seen in HIT: The First Case&nbsp;alongside Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra and was also part of Mind The Malhotras&nbsp;Season 2.

Jagger's appearance on the show was nothing short of a surprise. In a hilarious sketch with the night's host and musical guest, Bad Bunny, Jagger portrayed a character who revealed himself to be the estranged father of the soap opera actor played by Bad Bunny. The sketch revolved around a Spanish soap opera scene where Bad Bunny's villainous character repeatedly slapped his on-screen brother.

To the audience's amusement, Jagger entered the scene dressed in a white suit and sporting a fake moustache. The shock of the night came when it was revealed that Jagger's character was the father of the warring siblings, leading to uproarious laughter from the audience. The sketch reached its climax when the rock legend's character joined in the slapping frenzy, delivering some unexpected comedic punches.

Lady Gaga's entrance was equally thrilling, as she stepped onto the SNL stage to introduce Bad Bunny's first musical performance of the night, the hit single "UN PREVIEW." It was a special moment for Gaga, who had not graced the SNL stage since October 22, 2016, when she appeared as a musical guest alongside host Tom Hanks.

Adding to the excitement, both Jagger and Lady Gaga were spotted together in New York City just days before their SNL appearance. The two musical icons shared the stage at The Racket NYC in Manhattan during a performance by The Rolling Stones, where Gaga joined the legendary band for their new collaboration, "Sweet Sounds of Heaven."&nbsp;

According to reports by Page Six, sources have verified that the Oscar-winning actress and her husband have been leading independent lives since 2017, marking a significant shift in their long-standing relationship.

A representative for Meryl Streep issued an official statement, acknowledging the separation, saying, "Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart."

Meryl Streep and Don Gummer secretly separated 6 years ago but 'always care for each other'

A group of influential actors, including Mark Ruffalo, Jessica Chastain, Cate Blanchett, Quinta Brunson, Rosario Dawson, Oscar Isaac, Joaquin Phoenix, Alyssa Milano, Jon Stewart, and many others, have penned an impassioned letter addressed to President Joe Biden, urging him to take swift action to secure an immediate ceasefire in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

The letter, which includes signatures from prominent Jewish, Muslim, and Christian actors, reflects a shared humanitarian concern for the escalating violence and loss of life in the region. More than 5,000 people have lost their lives in the past week and a half, a toll that the signatories describe as catastrophic and morally unacceptable.

In the heartfelt letter, the actors call upon President Biden, as the leader of the United States, to use his authority to de-escalate the situation and facilitate a ceasefire without further delay. They emphasise that every life in the Holy Land is sacred, regardless of faith or ethnicity, and unequivocally condemn the killing of both Palestinian and Israeli civilians.

The letter not only appeals to President Biden but also implores all world leaders to join the efforts to stop the violence. The actors emphasise the urgency of ending the bombing of Gaza and ensuring the safe release of hostages.

The dire situation in Gaza is underscored by the fact that half of its two million residents are children, with over two-thirds being refugees and their descendants who have been displaced from their homes. The letter calls for immediate access to humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the people in the region.

The actors express their belief in the United States' potential to play a pivotal diplomatic role in resolving the conflict and emphasise that saving lives is a moral imperative. They echo the sentiments of UNICEF and other humanitarian organisations by stressing the importance of compassion and adherence to international law.

The full text of the letter is below.

<blockquote>
Dear President Biden,

We come together as artists and advocates, but most importantly as human beings witnessing the devastating loss of lives and unfolding horrors in Israel and Palestine.

We ask that, as President of the United States, you call for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Gaza and Israel before another life is lost. More than 5,000 people have been killed in the last week and a half – a number any person of conscience knows is catastrophic. We believe all life is sacred, no matter faith or ethnicity and we condemn the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.

We urge your administration, and all world leaders, to honor all of the lives in the Holy Land and call for and facilitate a ceasefire without delay – an end to the bombing of Gaza, and the safe release of hostages. Half of Gaza’s two million residents are children, and more than two thirds are refugees and their descendants being forced to flee their homes. Humanitarian aid must be allowed to reach them.

We believe that the United States can play a vital diplomatic role in ending the suffering and we are adding our voices to those from the US Congress, UNICEF, Doctors without Borders, The International Committee of The Red Cross, and so many others. Saving lives is a moral imperative. To echo UNICEF, “Compassion — and international law — must prevail.”

As of this writing, more than 6,000 bombs have been dropped on Gaza in the last 12 days – resulting in one child being killed every 15 minutes.

Beyond our pain and mourning for all of the people there and their loved ones around the world we are motivated by an unbending will to stand for our common humanity. We stand for freedom, justice, dignity and peace for all people – and a deep desire to stop more bloodshed.

We refuse to tell future generations the story of our silence, that we stood by and did nothing. As Emergency Relief Chief Martin Griffiths told UN News, “History is watching.”

Country music icon Toby Keith is returning to the stage amid his cancer battle. He has&nbsp; announced two headlining concerts in Las Vegas this December. The 62-year-old singer, who was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the fall of 2021, shared the exciting news in a video posted on his Instagram account.

In the video message, Keith revealed that he would be performing at Dolby Live Park MGM Las Vegas on December 10 and 11, marking his official comeback to live music after a two-year hiatus. The concerts, he explained, will serve as "rehab" shows, allowing him to reacquaint himself with performing and "get the band back in sync."

After his cancer diagnosis, Keith decided to take a break from music to focus on his health. However, he has been steadily making public appearances, including surprise pop-up concerts in Oklahoma and his appearance at the People's Choice Country Awards in Nashville.

In his video message, Keith offered a glimpse into his ongoing battle with cancer and the resilience he has maintained throughout. He said, "I've been on the old rollercoaster. But Almighty's riding shotgun; he's letting me drive for some reason. I was going to sit around here and do nothing like I have been. Or (I can) get up, go outside. Don't let the old man in, you know what I mean?"

He went on to say, "This is the first time in my whole life I've been off for over two years. I've never been off for a year in my life. And through COVID and cancer, the old devil's been at me a little bit. I've got him by the horns right now, so instead of just sitting around and waiting, we're going to get the band back together."

Toby Keith was honoured with the 2023 Country Icon Award at the People's Choice Country Awards last month, and he delivered his first televised performance since revealing his cancer diagnosis in June 2022. He performed "Don't Let the Old Man," a song from Clint Eastwood's 2018 film, "The Mule."

Actress Julia Fox is making fashion headlines in London with her distinctive tribute to Princess Diana. The 33-year-old model, who recently released her memoir titled Down the Drain, was spotted in the British capital wearing a one-of-a-kind corset featuring an image of the beloved "People's Princess."

Fox's ensemble was both eye-catching and respectful. The corset was adorned with Princess Diana's portrait in a red oval. This bold fashion statement paid homage to the late Royal, who tragically passed away in a car accident in 1997.

Her London look featured tall white boots, a white shin-length skirt, a loose white belt, a distinctive bow adorning her head, and a blue bag featuring the United Kingdom's flag. The cream corset, featuring an embellished crown, was a unique piece crafted by Eve Corsets.

The 33-year-old model, who recently released her memoir titled Down the Drain, was spotted in the British capital wearing a one-of-a-kind corset featuring an image of the beloved "People's Princess." Fox's ensemble was both eye-catching and respectful. Fox's outfit reflected her signature style, known for its avant-garde and provocative elements. Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o recently took to her Instagram account to share some deeply personal news with her followers. On Thursday, the 40-year-old star announced her split from boyfriend Selema Masekela in a heartfelt message that also encouraged her fans to confront their pain rather than evade it.

In a series of Instagram slides, Nyong'o began her message with an acknowledgement of the global issues currently at the forefront of our collective consciousness, stating, "There are much more important things going on in the world right now, and my thoughts are with those who are deeply suffering." Despite these critical concerns, Nyong'o felt compelled to share a personal truth about the end of her relationship with Masekela, emphasising the importance of trust.

"I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception," Nyong'o revealed. This candid admission emphasises the vulnerability and pain that many experience during the aftermath of a breakup.

Nyong'o expressed the desire to withdraw from the public eye to cope with her heartbreak but ultimately resolved to confront her emotions head-on. She conveyed, "I am reminded that the magnitude of the pain I am feeling is equal to the measure of my capacity for love. And so, I am choosing to face the pain, cultivating the courage to meet my life exactly as it is, and trusting that this too shall pass."

Throughout her message, Nyong'o never directly mentioned Selema Masekela by name. A representative for Masekela, a TV host and sports commentator, did not respond to PEOPLE's request for comment, nor did a representative for Nyong'o.

The actress concluded her note with a poignant message, encouraging her followers to embrace their own emotional struggles. "Let's face our pain so we don't spread it," she wrote, using the hashtag #Breakup.&nbsp;

The announcement came one day after Nyong'o was spotted at a Janelle Monae concert with friends and actor Joshua Jackson, known for his role in Dawson's Creek. Interestingly, Jackson's wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, recently filed for divorce.

Nyong'o and Masekela confirmed their relationship via Instagram in December 2022, although the exact start of their relationship remains unclear. In August, Nyong'o celebrated Masekela's birthday on her Instagram account, describing him as a "Sunshine Human." Masekela had responded in the comments, calling himself the "luckiest man alive."

Dolly Parton, the iconic country singer, actress, and philanthropist, is known for her timeless beauty and her signature glamorous look. In her new book, Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones, which was released on October 17, the 77-year-old artist delves into her unique style and the reasons behind going to bed with a full face of makeup.

In an excerpt, Dolly confessed that she has been sleeping in her makeup since the 1980s as part of her emergency preparedness plan. She shared, "When I arrived in LA in the '80s, I started sleeping with my makeup on, partly because of the earthquakes. I thought, 'I'm not heading out on the streets without makeup in case there are cameras out there! I'm going to be ready to go!'"

While the unusual practice has raised eyebrows, Parton emphasised that she still properly cleans her face in the morning. Following her morning skincare ritual, she then proceeds to reapply her makeup, ensuring she maintains her glamorous appearance throughout the day.

Parton humorously remarked, "It doesn't matter when you clean your face as long as you clean it once a day. After I wake up, I do all the little rituals, and then I start over again and go out every day and look good all day long."

The "9 to 5" singer shared that she adheres to this routine both when working in Los Angeles and while at home in Tennessee with her husband of 50 years, Carl Dean. She quipped, "This is also true back home in Tennessee. I don't want to go to bed looking like a hag with Carl."

This isn't the first time Dolly has discussed her decision to sleep in makeup. In a 2021 interview with WSJ Magazine, she reaffirmed her choice by citing the unpredictability of natural disasters. She said, "I do all my beauty work and cleaning my face in the morning because I usually try to keep my makeup on at night. Because I never know if there's going to be an earthquake or a tornado or a storm and I'm going to have to go out in the middle of the night."

Maluma reveals during his Washington DC concert that he's going to be a father

P!nk took to social media on Thursday to inform her fans of the latest adjustments to her tour schedule. She revealed that a respiratory infection has forced her to pause her tour temporarily and prioritise her health.

On her X account, P!nk wrote, "Vancouver shows postponed. Sending everyone lots of love and my sincere apologies xoxo." An attached photo to the tweet conveyed her doctor's orders, which stated that she would be "unable to perform at the Vancouver shows on Friday and Saturday."

P!nk&nbsp;reassured her fans by stating that Live Nation is working on rescheduling the shows, and she eagerly looks forward to hitting the stage again.

This announcement follows her recent revelation that concert dates in Washington had to be rescheduled due to "family medical issues" requiring "immediate attention." In an Instagram statement, she expressed her regrets to Tacoma ticket holders, stating, "The two shows on October 17 and October 18 will be postponed, and Live Nation is working on future dates to reschedule."

The Summer Carnival 2023 Tour has faced several adjustments since its June kickoff. In late September, P!nk had to cancel a show in Texas due to a sinus infection, a decision she described as disappointing.

Despite these necessary cancellations, P!nk's tour has witnessed many memorable moments. During a performance at BST Hyde Park in London in June, a fan presented her with a massive wheel of Brie de Meaux cheese, to which P!nk graciously responded, "I love you."

Back in the United States, the "Just Like Fire" artist made history in the Midwest when she became the first female to headline a stadium in Wisconsin and broke attendance records. During her tour, P!nk was also joined on stage by her 12-year-old daughter, Willow, whom she shares with her husband Carey Hart.

P!nk's North American leg of the tour is set to conclude in November with a show in Arlington, Texas.

Singer Liam Payne, known for his chart-topping hits, has been issued a fine of over $300 and banned from driving "due to repeat offending" after he was caught on camera speeding in a 30mph zone in west London in February. The 30-year-old star was not required to attend the Lavender Hill Magistrates Court, where his case was heard on October 9.

During the court proceedings, Payne issued an apology and explained that he was not aware of the speed limit at the time of the offence. He expressed, "I did not realise the speed limit and apologise for speeding." The "Strip That Down" singer received a penalty of four points on his driving record as well.

In terms of providing financial information, Payne declined to do so but assured the court that he would pay any imposed fine. He stated, "I am self-employed and cannot provide the information at this stage. However, I will pay any fine imposed within 14 days."

Payne has also been struggling with health issues. Last month, he was hospitalised in Italy after experiencing severe kidney pain while on vacation in Lake Como with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.

P!nk's shows in Tacoma postponed due to 'family medical issues' that require 'immediate attention'

Acclaimed actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde has addressed the recent backlash she faced after sharing a social media post suggesting that the intense interest in the romantic lives of celebrities could be redirected towards more pressing issues.

Wilde, 39, found herself at the centre of controversy earlier this month when she posted a message on her Instagram Stories that read, "I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist." This seemingly innocuous comment sparked a heated debate on social media, prompting Wilde to clarify her intentions.

Speaking with a reporter on Sunday, the Don't Worry Darling&nbsp;director expressed that she had never intended to hurt anyone's feelings with her post and had sought to highlight the disproportionate attention given to trivial matters. She stated, "I meant no harm. It's obviously a comment on how much attention gets paid to stupid things."

Netizens wasted no time in sharing their opinions on the matter, with some even bringing up Wilde's past relationship with pop sensation Harry Styles. One user on social media wrote, "I get it but like also... who is Olivia Wilde to say s**t. I don't remember Harry Styles restoring the ozone when they were dating."

Other users took a harsher stance, questioning Wilde's suitability to comment on others' relationships. One individual commented, "Olivia Wilde is the last person who should be criticising anyone about who they date."

Yet, some defended the actress-filmmaker's message, acknowledging the underlying point she was trying to make. One social media user expressed, "I don't even like Olivia Wilde, but I think she was real for that! Y'all are BORED."

In the midst of this controversy, Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce have been making headlines with their budding romance. The two were first linked over a month ago and have been spotted together multiple times. They recently flew back to New York City together on Taylor's private jet, followed by two PDA-filled date nights over the weekend.
