A video of Bollywood actress and IPL franchise Punjab's owner Preity Zinta went viral which showed her in a heated altercation with a section of crowd at Mohali during her team’s match against Chennai on April 15.
In the video, the actress can be seen angrily warning some people when she was distributing free Punjab t-shirts to fans.
Clearing her stand, Preity took to her Twitter handle to reveal the reason why she lost her cool.
She said that she saw two little girls being trampled by the crowd, which is why she asked people to move and give them space so they could breathe and not cry.
On Sunday, the Kings XI Punjab defeated the Chennai Super Kings at home in their IPL 2018 encounter as Chris Gayle produced the goods with the bat and the Mohit Sharma held his nerve in the final over against a rampant MS Dhoni to help his side to the win.
During the chase, Chennai lost their openers Shane Watson and Murali Vijay cheaply before Ambati Rayudu and MS Dhoni steadied the ship.
The wicketkeeper then launched an incredible attack which proved to be insufficient in the end.
Dhoni was battling back pain but managed to take the match into last over with a brilliant knock of 79 runs off 44 balls.
