Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker isn't happy with tennis superstar Serena Williams. The Chiefs player was recently roasted by Williams at the ESPY awards and he didn't like it at all.
"I thought Mrs. Williams was a great host and applaud her for using her platform to express her beliefs on a variety of topics," Butker said in a statement issued to NBC News.
"Sports are supposed to be the great unifier and at an event dedicated to celebrating a diverse group of men and women who have accomplished great feats, she used it as an opportunity to disinvite those with whom she disagrees with from supporting fellow athletes," he added.
Serena, along with her sister Venus Williams and "Abbott Elementary" creator and star Quinta Brunson was on stage when the roast happened.
Venus was explaining how everyone should get into women's sports and said: "So, go ahead and enjoy women's sports like you would any other sports, because they are sports."

To which Serena said: "Except you, Harrison Butker. We don't need you."
"At all. Like, ever," Brunson also added as the crowd broke into laughter.
The context was Butker's recently made commencement speech at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas in March earlier this year.
Butker, while addressing the women at Atchison, had said: "The majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world."
He also noted that a few of Catholic leaders were "pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America."
Ever since the incident, Butker has become one of the most divisive figures in the country with many former players and public figures criticising him for his beliefs.
Butker had also revealed that he has received support as well as 'a shocking level of hate' for his views after the speech.
