Messi brings back his iconic fun walk after Rohit Sharma did it at T20 World Cup

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma's famous walk to the podium to collect the T20 World Cup trophy made headlines when he did it. Apparently, it was spinner Kuldeep Yadav who showed him the walk as they stood in the queue to collect their medallions. Everyone cited how he took a page out of Lionel Messi's book who did the slow walk while picking up the FIFA World Cup trophy in 2022. The slow fun walk returned to our screens once again Sunday night after Argentina beat Colombia in the final of Copa America.
Messi was given the trophy and he took it towards his teammates who did the slow walk along with him.Angel Di Maria and Nicolas Otamendi were the two to join him in the fun walk that has now seemingly become a tradition for Messi.
When Rohit did the walk after the T20 World Cup win, FIFA also joined in the fun and shared pictures of Messia and Rohit together.

Messi has 45 trophies to his name
After Argentina beat Colombia, Messi added another number to the record books, that of being the only footballer with as many as 45 titles (with both club and country) to his name. He has now surpassed Brazil's Dani Alves' tally of 44. Messi has been bagging trophies at the international level since 2021, winning the Copa twice, a Finalissima and the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
Of the 45 trophies, 39 have come at the club level. His accolades include 12 league titles (10 with Barcelona, two with PSG), four UEFA Champions Leagues (all with the Spanish club Barcelona), and 17 domestic cups (15 with Barca, one apiece with PSG and his current club Inter Miami).
Messi has also won the Ballon d'Or record eight times and six European Golden Boots.
Argentina have won the Copa America 16 times now.Messi broke into tears after suffering an injury during regular time and returning to the bench. The start of the game was delayed by 82 minutes as ticketless fans tried to breach security.
