Visitors gathered at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in New Delhi on Wednesday for the unveiling of the wax figure of India's cricket captain, the highly popular Virat Kohli.
The cricketer's likeness is the latest entry to the museum that opened its doors last year in the Indian capital - after Lionel Messi, former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev and Usain Bolt.
"Presenting #TussaudsDelhi's next big unveil! The run machine, the chase master, @imVkohli is here!", Tussauds said in a post on Twitter. "Come 6th of June, let's play statue! Excited to be at MadameTussauds,"
Kohli had tweeted earlier this week.
In his wax avatar, Kohli, who has won several national and international awards for his performances, including the ICC World Cricketer of the year and three BCCI international cricketer of the year awards, is seen wearing the Indian national team colors and striking his signature batting pose.
