Delhi University's Lady Shri Ram Collegestudent Gurmehar Kaur, daughter of Kargil martyr Captain Mandeep Singh, said she has received hate messages including "rape threats" from ABVP, the youth wing of the BJP.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and All India Students Association(AISA) students have been clashing for over a week in the University campus over the invitation extended to Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid to address a seminar on 'Culture of Protests' at Ramjas College. The controversial JNU student Umar Khalid had faced sedition charges last year.
