Real-life Inception! Humans exchange a message through lucid dreams successfully in pathbreaking experiment

In a new breakthrough, which may appear to have been inspired straight from the movie "Inception", scientists were able to establish two-way communication between two people through lucid dreaming for the first time.
The experiment was carried out by California-based startup REMspace which designs technology for lucid dreaming and enhancing sleep. Using the technology, scientists were able to exchange one message between the two humans when they were asleep.
The company made use of "specially designed equipment" which included a "server," an "apparatus," "Wifi" and "sensors," however, they did not reveal the exact technology used.
During the study, the participants were sleeping in separate homes when the REMspace researchers created a word through a unique language and beamed it between them.

Speaking about the experiment, REMspace CEO and founder MichaelRaduga said, "Yesterday, communicating in dreams seemed like science fiction. Tomorrow, it will be so common we won't be able to imagine our lives without this technology."
"This opens the door to countless commercial applications, reshaping how we think about communication and interaction in the dream world," he added.
Scientists still need to review or replicate the technology. However, if this technology gets validated, it will become a major milestone for sleep research and can help with mental health treatment and skills training, said the REMspace.

Here's how the experiment was carried out
In the study, the two participants were made to sleep in separate homes and their brain waves were getting tracked by the apparatus remotely and the data was being fed into the server.
In the server, it was detected that one person had entered a lucid dream, created a random word using a special language and transmitted it through his earbuds.
He then repeated the same word in his dream and the response was recorded and stored in the server.
After eight minutes, the second participant got entry into a lucid dream.
The message stored by the first participant was transmitted by the server to her and the same was repeated by her when she woke up.
