
The woman who delivered a baby girl after she was shot in her back in the terrorist attack in Sunjuwan thanked the army doctors for saving her life.
She said, " I am very thankfulto them for saving me and my baby".
The Gynaecologist who operated the woman said that it was not a routine case and they were happy on successfully operating the critical case.
The doctorsaid " as a gynecologist, it is always our motto that mother should come along and go with a healthy baby in her lap. It's a very joyful moment for my hospital and our team. Patient is very happy."
The Hospital Commandant said that it was one of the challenging cases among all other injuries as a woman had come in her advanced pregnancy stage with a gunshot wound.
The woman was shot in her lower back by four terrorists who had entered the family quarters of the Brigade Army camp in the Sunjuwan area of Jammu and opened fire at the security forces and civilians.
Her husband Rifleman Nazir Ahmed was also injured in the firing after which both of them were shifted to the Military Hospital.
