Security has been beefed up in Bengaluru ahead of the New Year celebrations.

Bengaluru police are also using drone cameras for surveillance purposes.
According to media reports, over 15,000 personnel have been deployed.
Around 2,000 female police personnel will also be deployed all across the city.
Reports of mass molestation surfaced around the same time last year at Bengaluru's MG Road and Brigade Road.
Bengaluru Police Department has taken appropriate measures to avoid any similar mishaps this year.
