Meeting between Kulbhushan Jadhav, mother, wife is deeply unsatisfactory: Shashi Tharoor

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has called the meeting between Kulbhushan Jadhav and his wife and mother as deeply unsatisfactory.

"The way in which roll unfolded was deeply unsatisfactory," Shashi Tharoor said.

However, he also said that that the meeting was a step forward as somebody was able to meet the "poor" man who was arrested 22 months back

Indian death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav met his mother and wife at the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Islamabad today for45 minutes today.

Pakistan said it was permitting the meeting "as a humanitarian gesture, on the birthday of the Father of the nation, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah."
