Man arrested for killing one-an-half-year-old son

A man was arrested on Monday for allegedly killing his one-and-half-year-old son by throwing him against a wall "due to anger", reports said.

The incident took place in Bhagwanpura village in Mandsaur district. The accused, was reportedly in a fight with his wife after he found out that she had been flirting with a young man outside the vicinity.

The accused got into a big fight with his wife which is when his son intervened to stop the fight.

The father, in a fit of anger, reportedly threw the son against a wall - smashing his head severely.

After the woman cried out, people gathered around to help her take her son to the hospital, upon finding him lying in a pool of blood. The doctors declared the kid dead on the spot, reports said.

The accused was arrested on Monday afternoon.
