BJP lawmaker from Madhya Pradesh Janardan Mishra was seen crouching over the toilet of a local school, cleaning and unclogging it with his bare hands.
The BJP MP from Rewa district was informed that a school toilet in Rewa's Khajuha village had clogged and that the children there were not able to use it.
Instead of giving out directives to get the toilet fixed, Mishra reached the school and decided to take stock of the situation.
Mishra posted his video on his Twitter handle stating that he unclogged and cleaned an out-of-use toilet at a school in a village in Rewa in compliance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Janardan Mishra was recently seen carrying out a series of welfare drives for the local village community in Rewa. In another instance, he was seen giving a bath to a little kid in a village.
"I had seen that the kids in Alhowa, Nai Garhi had not bathed for long. I decided to bathe one of the kids here and also urged the teaching staff and parents to bathe their kids every day and send them to school," Mishra tweeted.
