Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal blamed the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) for thePNB Bank fraud.

While addressing a press conference he said the Finance Ministry and the PMOwere aware of the scam and they "turned a blind eye" toit.He said, " they were aware that our country was being looted and they are aware even now".

He also asked the government to release the details of the people who are in debts in jewellerybusiness.

Taking a jibe at the " ease of doing business" hesaid "anyone can come and borrow loans from our banks and evade without repaying it. This is not the kind of ease of business that we want from our country''.

He also blamed the Prime Minister for encouraging ''crony capitalism'' in the country andsaid that the PM institutionalised crony capitalism.

Hitting out at PM Modi's pakoda comment, Sibal said " Our guard is very busy these days in giving advice to the people for making pakodasbut while he is asleep the thief managed to slip away".

Sibal responded to the allegations on previous UPA government forPNB Bank fraud case and said that the credit given before 2014 was not outstanding.

While speaking on the resignation of the Former bank director, Dinesh Dubey, Sibal said: " Today anything can be made to say by the help of police, One should check his resignation letter to know the reality".

Sibal also assured that they will bring the reality of the case in case theNDAfails to do so.
