Himachal Pradesh government announces two-day state mourning for Arun Jaitley

Himachal Pradesh government has announced two-day state mourning over the demise of former union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Arun Jaitley.

Earlier today, Jaitley's mortal remains were brought to the BJP's headquarters on Sunday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National Working President JP Nadda, Harsh Vardhan, Piyush Goyal and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and many other leaders arrive at the headquarters to pay their respects to the former union minister.


BJP veteran leader's mortal remains would be kept at the BJP headquarters for people to pay homage and will be cremated at Nigambodh Ghat later in the day. 

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) released an official statement on Saturday to confirm the sad demise of the former union minister.
