Priyanka Chopra's TV series Quantico has run into controversy. The series, which is in its third season now, had an episode where ‘Indian nationalists’ plot a terrorist attack in Manhattan with the intention of blaming it on Pakistan.
The episode has been slammed by Indians on Twitter.
In the episode, which aired on June 1, an MIT professor acquires uranium with which he plans to make a nuclear bomb. He targets an India-Pakistan summit which is being held at New York.
“I don’t even know what sort of ridiculous narrative was this episode trying to set.. nonsensical stuff,” one person wrote on Twitter. “What kind of stupid a** episode is this??” wrote another.
