Karan Johar's multi-starrer Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham released 16 years ago on this day. The film which had Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor playing the leads was a blockbuster hit in 2001. Many of its songs and dialogues became iconic over the years.
On Thursday, the film's director, Karan Johar went down the memory lane as he tweeted, " #I6yearsofK3G....a film that has is exceptionally close to my heart....have the most beautiful memories...thank you @SrBachchan @iamsrk @iHrithik @kajol #jayaaunty #kareena #rani for making my experience so special....(sic)"

Dharma Productions also shared a deleted scene from the film which never made the final cut because the film had already become lengthy. In the video, KJo talks about how the scene was one of his favourites and how he had found it funny but the rest of the crew had convinced him to drop it from the final cut.
