
People in the national capital and NCR observed a pleasant weather on Monday morning as rain and light breeze hit several areas in Delhi and NCR region.
Many parts of the city saw mild showers early Monday morning followed by a wind speed of 81 kms per hour after which it witnessed a dust storm for a couple of hours.
The temperature recorded on Monday dropped to 28.4 degrees Celcius from 33 degrees Celcius on Sunday.
On April 7, Delhi saw a massive dust storm in the evening amid the scorching heat, bringing the temperature considerably down. The strong winds reduced visibility and also caused minor non-structural damages and massive traffic jams in the Delhi, NCR region.
24 incoming flights were also diverted out of Delhi and caused up to one-hour delays in both arrivals and departures at the airport.
