Telangana Lok Sabha elections Results 2024: Out of the 17 seats in the southern state of Telangana, BJP and Congress are leading in eight each, whileAll India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen is ahead in one at the time of writing, as counting continues on Tuesday (June 4).

Telangana went to the pollsfor the Lok Sabha elections on May 13. As per the Election Commission of India, the voter turnout in the state was around 66 per cent, where polling was held in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024.

The state witnessed 66.40 per cent of voting in the 2019 elections to the Lok Sabha. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi won nine out of the 17 seats, followed by BJP that gotfour, while Congress emerged victorious onthree seats and MIM on one seat.

Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee President A Revanth Reddy cast his vote at Kodangal in Mahboobnagar district and former chief minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi President K Chandrashekar Rao cast his voteat Chintamadaka in Siddhipet segment.

The districts showed much better turnouts. While the backward district of Adilabad reported 31 per cent of polling, Khammam, a major agricultural produce trading centre, reported a similar percentage of polling.
