The Premier League title race will have a decisive evening on Tuesday (May 14) as Tottenham HotspurwelcomeManchester City in thepenultimate game of the season.With only a point separating Arsenal and Man City at the top, a draw or a win for Spurs will see the Gunners sit in pole position to win the Premier League title onSunday’sfinal day. A win for Spurs will also see them keep their faint Champions League qualification hopes alive after Villa drew against Liverpool.

Ahead of theclash, former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has claimed that the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the biggest of the season in the title race. According to him, the result of the match will decide the outcome of the title race. A win for Spurs will see their own Champions League qualification hopes alive as they enter the contest with 63 points in 26 matches.The win will see them narrow the gap to fourth-placed Aston Villa (68 points) to two points and could seal a top-four finish if results go their way on thefinal day of the season.

In the bigger picture, a draw for Man City will hand the initiative to Arsenal as the North London side has better Goal Difference (GD).This means City will have to betterArsenal’sresult on Sunday to clinch the Premier League title. However, a defeat to Spurs will see Arsenal in pole position with a win against Everton for the Gunners ending their 20-year title drought.
