Actor Farhan Akhtar has announced his next film 120 Bahadur. On Monday (Nov. 18), the director shared the first look of his next film which is based on the soldiers who lost their lives during the 1962 Indo-China war.
Marking the 62nd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, the actor paid tributes to the 120 soldiers who died in the Battle of Rezand La during the 62nd war Indo-China war.
Taking to his Instagram account, he shared a thrilling poster of him as a soldier in the midst of battle. He has blood on histeeth and face as he aims a gun with a serious expression on hisface. In the movie, he will play the lead role of Major Shaitan Singh. The poster reads, “Woh teen hazar the aur hum (They were three thousand and we)?”
Along with a poster, he penned a tribute note to the unsung warriorswho lost their lives while fighting for the nation.

He added, ''Their story echoes through time, reminding us of the price of freedom and the strength of unity, with a special salute to the Ahir community, whose sons displayed unmatched bravery in defending our nation.''
The project is helmed by Razneesh Ghai, though not many details about the movie have been revealed at the moment. However, the film will be released in 2026.
For the unversed, the Battle of Rezand La took place during the Indo-China War between the Indian Army's 13th Kumaon Regiment and China's People's Liberation Army (PLA). During the tense time,120 soldiersof theCharlie Company of the 13th Kumaon Regimentbravely fought 3000 Chinese soldiers anddefended themountain pass ofRezang Lah in Ladakh.
