The first trailer of the upcoming film ‘Uri’ is finally out and it meets the expectations. The action-drama film based on the 2016 surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in retaliation to an alleged terror attack in the Kashmir region of Uri, has everything it takes to make a good film (at least it looks like from the trailer).
The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in lead roles.
The trailer opens up with a high-intensity grenade blowing up a base camp in Uri with the screen reading: “On 18 September 2016, 19 unarmed Indian soldiers were martyred at Uri base came, Kashmir.”
Soon after, Vicky who plays the role of an Indian Army officer, vows to take revenge and finish the fight from India’s side. In one scene, he says, “Indian Army didn’t start this war, but we will bloody hell finish it.”
Yami Gautam plays an intelligence officer, who is seen interrogating a terror suspect.
