Selena Gomez, 32, has reached the billionaire status. The Rare Beauty founder has an estimated net worth of $1.3 billion, which makes her one of the country's youngest female billionaires, according to Bloomberg.
Her wealth is largely driven by her Rare Beauty cosmetic brand, which she launched in 2019. It makes up for over 80 per cent of her fortune. The brand often goes viral on social media for its products. It reportedly did net sales of $400m in the 12 months to February.
The net worth value includes her interest in the Wondermind mental health startup, the estimated value of her music album sales and real estate properties, as well as earnings from streaming deals, brand partnerships, concert tickets and acting.
Gomez last went on tour in 2016. Her last album Rare released in 2020. She has currently been busy with her acting projects.

Gomez is also returning for Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, a sequel series to her. Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place. It will premiere on October 29.
On the personal front, the singer is currently dating music producer Benny Blanco. Rumours of their engagement have spread like wildfire in the last few weeks. She has also been spotted wearing a gold ring in public. However, the couple is yet to confirm the news.
