Munawar Faruqui FINALLY confirms secret wedding with MUA Mehzabeen Coatwala

Munawar Faruqui, who often finds himself embroiled in dating controversies, finally revealed his relationship status. The comedian and reality TV star on Sunday (July 1) confirmed that he is married to makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala. The two recently celebrated their 1-month wedding anniversary in Dubai and shared photos and videos on social media platforms, confirming their secret wedding.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Munawar shared a series of photos from his Dubai trip. In the last picture of the carousel, he is seen posing with his wife and appreciating Dubai's sprawling infrastructure that illuminates at night.

While Munawar was seen donning a black T-shirt with olive green pants, shoes and a cap, his wife looked gorgeous in a printed tee, denim pants and sneakers.

Sharing the pictures, he wrote, "W in life (sparkles emoji)." He added the hashtags--Dubai, Munawar Faruqui and dhandho. Meanwhile, Mehzabeen posted a video from Dubai on Instagram and wrote, "One month. Allahumma Barik."

Several other photos and videos from their 1-month wedding anniversary celebration are going viral online.

According to reports, this is both Munawar and Mehzabeen's second marriage. Munawar was previously married to Jasmine. The two share a six-year-old son Mikael. Mehzabeen reportedly has a 10-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.

The couple exchange wedding vows in an intimate ceremony in May. Later, they also had a wedding reception at Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha.

Coming to Munawar's work front, he featured in a music video titled "Halki Halki Si," alongside Hina Khan, in February. It was sung byAsees Kaur and Saaj Bhatt.

Last month, he also announced his stand-up tour, Dhandho.The specials will be held in Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Dubai.
