Kangana Ranaut, Farhan Akhtar and other Bollywood celebrities react to Supreme Court 's Ayodhya verdict

The Supreme Court delivered its verdict on the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi case on Saturday. The apex court said that the disputed site in Ayodhyawould be given to Hindus to construct a Ram Temple, while 5 acres of land at an alternate site within Ayodhya will be given to the Sunni Waqf Board.

As soon as the verdict was announced, Bollywood celebrities joined others to welcome the Supreme Court's judgment. Stars took to social media to share their views on the same.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar welcomed the verdict as he tweeted '' Welcome the fair verdict over the #AyodhyaCase by Hon. Supreme Court. Finally, the long-pending issue will be resolved now".

Queen of Bollywood Kangana Runout also shared her thoughts over Ayodhya verdict and said that the judgment was proof that everyone could 'coexist peacefully'. She wrote, "The supreme court judgment on #AYODHYAVERDICT shows how all of us can coexist peacefully. This is the beauty of our great country, and I urge everyone to rejoice in the fact that we define 'Unity in diversity' #KanganaRanaut #AyodhyaJudgment #AyodhyacaseVerdict.

'Jolly LLB 2' actress Huma Qureshi appealed citizens to respect the court's verdict, ''My dear Indians, please respect the Supreme Court verdict on #AyodhyaCase today. We all need to heal together and move on from this as one nation !!

Vivek Oberoi remembered Mahatama Gandhi and urged citizens to maintain peace. In a tweet post, he wrote, "No one could have said it better than the great father of our nation! Let us honour the Mahatma by keeping peace and staying united always."

Farhan Akhtar who was last seen in the film 'The Sky is Pink' asked the citizens to accept the judgment and move on. "Humble request to all concerned, please respect the Supreme Court verdict on #AyodhyaCase today. Accept it with grace if it goes for you or against you. Our country needs to move on from this as one people. Jai Hind."

The decision by the Supreme Court was made by the five-judge bench comprising CJI Ranjan Gogoi, DY Chandrachud, SA Bobde, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
