
Alia Bhatt's Jigra is one of the most awaited Bollywood films of the year. After keeping the audience on the edge with the release of every new poster, the makers have finally dropped the teaser trailer for the forthcoming movie and it's surely going to take the audience's excitement a notch higher.
Directed by Vasan Bala, the movie is an intense story of a brother and a sister.

The teaser takes us into the emotional yet fierce world of a sister who can go to any extent and risk everything to bring her brother back.
The trailer begins with emotional Alia telling atragic story of her life. She says, "Ma ko bhagwan le gaye. Papa ne khud ki jaan le li. Dur ke rishtedar ne panah di aur bhari kiraya wasool kiya. Choro na Bhatiya saab. Kahaani bohat lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bohat kam. (God took the mother away. Father took his own life. Distant relatives sheltered us and took a heavy rent for it. Leave it, Bhatiya saab. The story is long and bhai has verylittle time left)."
With the reprise version of the iconic song ''Phoolon ka Taaron ka'' playing in the background, we see Alia getting on a mission to bring her brother (Vedang Raina) back from China, where he's imprisoned.
Further, we see Bhatt going to all lengths to save her siblings; from planning a daring mission, performing jaw-dropping action sequences, exploding walls and car chasing among other things.

Before the teaser release, Alia had been sharing a bunch of intense posters. One poster showed the Gangubai actress standing in the backdrop of a fire with an intense look and carrying a hammer and other tools in her hand. The caption of the poster reads, ''Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam.''
The film is backed by Alia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shaheen Bhatt and Somen Mishra, and co-produced by Marijke DeSouza.
Written by Debashish Irengbam and Bala, Jigra will hit the screens on October 11.
