A month has passed since Bollywood’s most adored couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh,welcomed theirbaby girl into the world. While Singhhas made public appearances since he became a father, fans eagerly anticipate Padukone’s first public appearance since she gave birth.
Many expected her to attend the trailer launch of Singham Again on Monday (October 7), but she was not present at the event.
During the launch, Singh said that he takes over parenting responsibilities during the night to support his wife. He also revealed that Deepika was pregnant while filming Singham Again, which made the cop drama their daughter's debut project.Singh also referred to their daughter as 'Baby Simmba'.
The idea of celebrity children making their debuts before birth is not unique to Ranveer and Deepika's family. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently shared in an interview that she was pregnant with her daughter Raha Kapoor while shooting her first Hollywood film, Heart of Stone (2023). Bhatt recounted the emotional experience of feeling Raha's first kick while she was away from home, filming the action thriller. She also shared her husband Ranbir Kapoor's reaction to this milestone moment in their pregnancy journey.
The parallel between Padukone and Bhatt’sexperiences shows the aspect of parenthood and how their unborn kids have already been a part of the entertainment industry through their mothers.
