In an interview with People, Presley says, “There’s been so much that’s untruthful out there — things like Elvis is still alive and hidden somewhere," adding, "I wish he was still alive."

There have been rumours about Elvis being alive, suggesting that he faked his death to escape the pressures of fame. Over the years, many different claims about the singer have circulated; some have said that he was connected to the mafia, others say he was an undercover agent.
