
In a shocking turn of events, actor Cole Brings Plenty, the Yellowstone spinoff actor, was found dead days after he went missing. He was 27.
The actor's body was discovered in a wooden area, near Edgerton city in Johnson County, Kansas. As per the police report, the actor's body was discovered on Friday morning at around 11:45 am after sheriffs were called for an unoccupied vehicle.
“Deputies checked the area and discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle,” the Johnson County Sheriff's said in a news release.
They added, “The deceased male has been identified as Cole Brings Plenty, 27,” the Sheriff's office confirmed.
No cause of death has been revealed.
Soon after the death news of Cole Brings Plenty broke, a statement was released by the deceased actor's family.
Yellowstone actor and Cole's uncle Mo Brings Plenty, shared a statement, reading, ''I am deeply saddened to confirm that my son, Cole, has been found and is no longer with us. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the prayers and positive thoughts you sent for Cole. We would also like to thank everyone who came to walk beside us as we searched for my son and provided the resources we needed to expand our search areas. I learned this week how many people knew the goodness in Cole’s heart and loved him.''

After the 27-year-old actorwent missing, his uncle and Yellowstone actor, Mo had shared several posts as the search for his nephew was underway. In his Instagram post, Mo mentioned that Cole went missing from Lawrence, Kansas on March 31, 2024. He was last seen on the highway in his 2005 white Ford Explorer.
Brings was reported missing after he was named a suspect in a case that involved domestic violence abuse. A few days ago, Mo Brings said in a statement that there is no evidence his nephew, was "on the run" after Cole's name emerged in an alleged domestic violence incident.

In the release, the police department said that they received a call from a woman screaming for help in an apartment on Sunday morning. After an investigation, Plenty was suspected as "traffic cameras showed him leaving the city immediately after the incident."
Cole, who was a student at Haskell Indian Nations University, appeared in the two episodes of Yellowstonespinoff 1923 season 1. The other TV shows that he has been part of are: Into the Wild Frontierand The Tall Tales of Jim Bridger.
